How much attention to weight loss is just too much? We’re watching Kim Kardashian’s day-by-day and even minute-by-minute pics, and the way the baby weight from Saint is pouring off her, one has to wonder if the reality star is getting carried away. Her “weight obsessed” attitude is getting worse, and according to People magazine, Kim’s story has “gone one step too far” as she pursues her skinny goal of 120 pounds and reports on every pound defeated. Right now, she’s down to an incredible 124.5 pounds after reaching 200 while she was pregnant with her little Kardashian prince.
Kim “celebrated her thin frame” with a Snapchat post about how much extra fat she’s gotten rid of since Saint was born. She was all dressed up in a fabulous, form-fitting, Privacy Please mini dress, set off by a pair of Yeezy Season 2 high boots and a denim choker, ready to “hit up Revolve’s LA Social Club.” The dress made it pretty obvious that the famous Kardashian waist is ” svelte” by any standards, to the point that it’s hard to believe it’s real. Kardashian even made a joke about that, teasing fans in the caption that the pic looked Photoshopped.
“”You guys, doesn’t my waist look, like, Photoshopped? It’s so crazy! It’s getting small!”
She’s right. That tiny waist doesn’t look like an actual part of Kim’s body, especially for someone with an eight month old baby. Kim’s weight loss regime has led to a drop of almost 80 pounds since December when her little prince was born. That’s more than ten pounds a month, and it shows just how disciplined the mom-of-two is about getting rid of the baby weight. One person suggested that Kim should make her own diet and workout book to sell.
But with every new Snapchat post about her princely progress, it also has a lot of people wondering if we are going to become as obsessed with Kim’s weight as Kim herself clearly is.
Gossip site Perez Hilton says that when Kim posted her up-to-date weight with the waistline Snapchat pic on August 10, she was “already down a pound” since August 8 when she made her last social media report. Okay, so that means the “Khloe Kardashian fitness emergency kit” is doing what it’s supposed to do, but some fans are sick of hearing about it.
Twitter user Katy Ball said that it’s just irresponsible of Kim to keep Snapchatting her weight because positive body image has nothing to do with the numbers.
Some followers are having a hard time dealing with the kind of pressure that Kim’s constant weight obsession puts on others. One person tweeted that she feels victimized by Kardashian’s weight.
Another tweeter wrote that Kim is already beautiful and doesn’t need to lose weight or show off a super-skinny waist.
Kim lost 42 pounds in the first three months after giving birth, accomplishing that impressive weight loss by sticking to a diet of only 1,800 calories a day. The meal plan totally ruled out things like processed foods and sugar, and Kardashian West ate mostly “proteins, healthy fats,” and fresh food to shed the fat.
Fans are gearing up expectantly after Kim’s comments at the BlogHer conference hinted that her new body and skinny waist mean it must be “time for a new nude selfie.”
“Have I posted a nude selfie since I lost all my baby weight? I don’t think so. Get ready.”
