Bradley Cooper, For Girlfriend Irina Shayk, Takes Backseat In 2016 Films: Model’s Instagram Show Signs Of Age And Maturity

Bradley Cooper is not jumping at the chance to star in films any more. Could it be that he is taking a different approach to Hollywood to make time for his girlfriend Irina Shayk? While they have only been together for just over a year, their steady relationship has become a part of Hollywood. Even the model’s Instagram is showing signs of age and maturity!

The 30-year-old model and her boyfriend stayed as close to each other as possible this summer, showing that they are ready for the next step in their relationship. He followed her to Paris, where she was working on some shoots for fashion brands, then they went over to the U.K. to see Wimbledon. Now, they are frolicking in the Italian sun as they wrap up smaller projects to spend time with each other.

“His sexy model girlfriend Irina Shayk raised temperatures as she flaunted her curves in a tiny yellow bikini on the beach while the actor was playing tennis during a recent trip away,” reports Mirror UK. “She made sure she caught some rays while out with a friend on a sunny afternoon in Sardinia and was snapped after rearranging her bikini top.

This isn’t the only time that Bradley and Irina were seen in their skimpy bathing suits. They have been in Italy for a while, soaking up the sun in lakeside houses, boats and beaches.

“[T]he Victoria’s Secret supermodel sizzled in a white Minimale Animale bikini as they set sail in Maddalena,” reports In Style Magazine. “The couple—who has been dating since April 2015—heated things up with a smooch while they enjoyed a day out on a boat, before jumping into the water and frolicking together. While Shayk flaunted her toned figure, Cooper showed off his chiseled chest and rocked a pair of navy swim trunks.”

The reason why American Sniper can follow his girlfriend around Europe is because he is taking a backseat approach to films in 2016. He had his break when he starred in Silver Linings Playbook with Jennifer Lawrence and since then, he has received Oscar nominations and other starring roles.

But starring in films means that he has to commit to filming schedules that are very intense and unforgiving. So now, at the age of 41, the American actor is turning more and more to producing gigs.

“Black Flags: The Rise Of ISIS, the 2016 Pulitzer-winning nonfiction book by Joby Warrick, is headed to the small screen,” reports Deadline. “HBO has put in development a miniseries being developed by Bradley Cooper, who executive produces with with Todd Phillips via the duo’s Joint Effort production banner.”

This means that he can do most of the work remotely and have more control over his schedules. Because his girlfriend is a model, she has less power over her schedules, which are filled with photo shoots that happen in far-flung countries.

Their signs of age and maturity is showing through on Irina’s Instagram as well. She still posts about her fashion shoots and the lavish parties that she goes to, but increasingly, there are more and more domestic posts.

She only has put up a photo of Bradley Cooper on Instagram once, when she took a “selfie” with him. But the picture excluded their faces, flaunting their relationship in the most subtle way ever.

Even though it looks like the actor is slowing things down in his career, if he wants to snag that elusive Oscar, he might have to appear in more films. The fact that he has more leverage in Hollywood now means that 2016 could be the year that helped him pick the role of his lifetime.
