‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chloe’s Antics Generate Buzz And Suspicion, Victor’s Scheme To Expose Luca Begins, And Summer’s Planning Progresses

There are tense moments on the way with Wednesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless. Spoilers indicate that Victor will begin his efforts to take down Luca as Summer begins to plan her wedding. Kevin is desperate to reunite with Chloe, but he may be blind to the realities he is facing, and Mariah is clearly getting frustrated with the situation. In addition, the August 10 show brings more related to Dylan’s investigation into Adam’s case, and there is plenty of drama on the way.

Kevin is trying to reignite the flames he used to have with Chloe despite Chloe’s insistence that they are never getting back together again. He is using Mariah to try to make it happen, which puts Mariah a very awkward position. Young and the Restless spoilers from SheKnows Soaps indicate that he will apologize to Mariah for asking her to help, noting that he needs to make this happen himself.

Mariah tells Kevin that he’s being an idiot and notes that Chloe thinks he should be with someone else who is already in his life. Mariah won’t admit that it’s her, however, but she does tell him that he should love someone who wants to be in love with him as well.

After Mariah walks away, Kevin will order some flowers to be delivered to Chloe. Later, when the two women are together again, Chloe will again mention that she thinks Mariah and Kevin should be together, although Mariah says it’s not possible. Young and the Restless spoilers share that when the flowers arrive for Chloe, Mariah will claim that they are for her.

Phylis has told Summer that she will support and help her when it comes to the wedding to Luca, but she has told Victor that she will work with him to try to break up the couple. Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor and Phyllis will do a video call with Nick to fill him in on things. While they are hoping that Nick will have uncovered some dirt on Luca, so far he hasn’t had any luck.

The trio discuss the idea that Luca set up the oil issues in order to undermine Victoria and they believe that he framed Travis for the sabotage. Young and the Restless spoilers note that they will wonder about Luca’s focus on Travis and Victor says he has a plan. He will beckon Luca to come to his office and he tells his partners in this scheme that there will be tequila involved.

According to We Love Soaps, Victor will put together a trap for Luca. When Victor calls, Luca says he is writing a press release to share the news of his engagement to Summer, but he heads over to Newman Enterprises. Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victor will see via his surveillance that Luca is listening in as he makes a phone call to someone about finding Travis, and Victor has drinks with Luca as they discuss both the oil issues and the engagement.

Luca will share that he heard Victor talking about Travis, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that he will break down why he thinks Travis was behind the sabotage incidents. He offers to find Travis and he is a bit surprised when Victor agrees to have him work on it. However, Newman notes that he is not going to give Luca office space at the company.

Dylan heads to Chelsea’s penthouse and is surprised to see Chloe there, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate that the two will have a tense conversation. He questions her and makes a reference to Victor’s partner, but Chloe introduces him to Bella and maintains that she is a changed woman and is doing well. She also points out that he has had struggles as well, but it seems that Dylan won’t entirely buy her story.

Summer will meet up with Sharon and Chelsea to pick out a wedding dress, and soon Phyllis arrives as well. Chloe also arrives, and while most of the ladies are fawning over Summer and supporting her, Mariah throws out a few digs. The group talks about past mistakes and problematic encounters, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Mariah will end up sharing some nice sentiments about hoping Summer is happy.

Later, Dylan will be doing some digging into Chloe at the police station, but Young and Restless spoilers note that Kevin will see him and get quite upset. He doesn’t think Chloe could be Victor’s partner, but Dylan questions his ability to be objective.

Once Dylan leaves, Kevin will look at the footage of Victor and his unknown partner again. At home, Young and Restless spoilers share that Dylan will voice frustrations that Sharon doesn’t think that Chloe could be involved in Adam’s case. However, Chelsea will stop by and ask him to keep digging, and it seems that she hopes that he will be able to prove that Chloe is not involved.

Victor and Phyllis will reconnect, and he tells her about his time with Luca, believing that he saw the real deal. Young and the Restless spoilers share that he will be confident that he will stop the wedding from taking place, and she notes that she is glad he is trying to take down the right person for a change of pace. Summer and Luca get frisky back at their place, excited about their plans, and during a moment alone, he makes a call about tracking a subject to Mexico.

Will Kevin come to realize that Mariah is the one who may well be meant for him? Can Dylan prove that Chloe is Victor’s partner? Will Phyllis and the others manage to stop Summer from marrying Luca? Young and the Restless spoilers tease that there are more tense moments on the way, and fans will not want to miss what is coming next.
