Amanda Bynes Charged For Driving On A Suspended License
Amanda Bynes has been involved in several driving incidents this summer and now the charges are starting to pile up. Bynes is already facing DUI charges, hit and run charges, and she had her car impounded earlier this week. Now the actress has been charged with two counts of driving on a suspended license.
According to TMZ, the new charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in jail.
The gossip site reports that Bynes was ticketed twice in an hour and a half at the Burbank Airport. The second time Bynes was pulled over cops ran her license and discovered that it was suspended. Bynes received a ticket and her car was impounded.
The actress’ multiple driving infractions have led some people to believe that she’s struggling with mental issues.
Last week, a friend of the star said:
“She’s obviously crying out for help, but isn’t ready to receive it… She seems to be having some serious mental health issues and she’s always out of it. She really doesn’t seem to be in touch with reality.”
Bynes, on the other hand, said that she’s doing great. In an interview with People Magazine the former Nickelodeon star said that she was doing “amazing” and that she wasn’t worried about her DUI charge.
“I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.”
Bynes didn’t comment on the two hit and run charges are the fact that she’s been driving on a suspended license.
