‘Teen Mom 2’ Stars Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Co-Parent But Divorce Rumors Continue
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are headed for divorce, and as they prepare to end their marriage, the Teen Mom 2 couple is doing their best to co-parent their kids.
After initially confirming plans to part ways earlier this year, Kailyn Lowry’s husband arrived home from his deployment in Qatar and embarked on a new parenting plan with his soon-to-be ex-wife.
At the same time, the couple has been faced with ongoing rumors regarding their split and what has happened between the pair, both together and separately, since they called it quits.

In one recent report, shared by the Hollywood Gossip, it is suggested that Kailyn Lowry has moved on from Marroquin with a new baby. However, upon further look, Kailyn Lowry’s new baby isn’t another child or a new man: It is a vehicle. As the outlet revealed, Kailyn Lowry traded in her Chevy Suburban for a BMW X-series earlier this week and shared her journey of buying the new vehicle on her SnapChat account.
In a second report, published by the Stir on August 8, a couple of recent tweets, which reportedly referenced Kailyn Lowry’s marriage, were shared.
“No matter what kind of s**t I’m dealing with, I’m a mother first,” Kailyn Lowry wrote on Twitter on August 7.
She later added, “I’ve f**ked up but I won’t let anyone bring me out of character again. I promise that for my kids.”
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin got married during a courthouse ceremony in 2012 just before he was scheduled to leave town for training in the Air Force. One year later, they celebrated their marriage with a much larger ceremony at an aquarium in Camden, New Jersey.

During the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion, which aired earlier this year, Kailyn Lowry sat down with host Dr. Drew Pinsky to discuss her miscarriage, divorce and kids, while Marroquin appeared on the show via video chat during his deployment.
“He was not helpful, not sympathetic,” Kailyn Lowry said of her husband’s reaction to her 2015 miscarraige. “I think he was going through it on his own, but we didn’t know how to help each other.”
“In my mind, I knew it wasn’t her fault,” Marroquin explained. “I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That’s where our marriage kinda started going downhill.”
While the end of Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin’s marriage reportedly began late last year, they remained together for their son, Lincoln, 2, and Lowry’s oldest child, Isaac, 6, until Marroquin left Delaware and traveled to Qatar.
“That’s a huge reason why I think we’re still together,” Kailyn Lowry said. “Because Isaac, I mean he calls Javi ‘dad.’ So yeah, that plays a big factor. I think about my mom… I probably had about eight stepdads as a kid.”
“He’s my best friend. I want to be in this marriage,” Marroquin said. “I want all of us to be together. But her mind is set, and when her mind is set, there’s no changing it.”
Also during the show, Kailyn Lowry admitted that she and Marroquin struggled with their marriage due to his deployment, which put a major strain on their relationship.
