Taylor Swift Doesn’t Just Have Tom Hiddleston’s Love: Scott Eastwood And Jared Leto Are Swifties

Taylor Swift is dating Marvel man Tom Hiddleston, but this isn’t stopping the Thor: Ragnarok star’s DC Comics competition from gushing about how great his girlfriend is. After hearing what Scott Eastwood and Jared Leto recently had to say about her, the “Bad Blood” singer might consider trading her girl squad for her very own Suicide Squad.

During an August 5 interview with People, Scott Eastwood revealed that he was so eager to work with Taylor Swift that he did so against his agents’ wishes. Scott, the son of actor/director Clint Eastwood, played Taylor’s love interest in her ambitious Out of Africa-inspired music video for “Wildest Dreams.” According to Eastwood, his agents couldn’t understand why he wanted to work with Swift, but he wasn’t going to pass up on the opportunity to get up close and personal with the pop princess.

“None of my agents wanted me to do it, actually,” Eastwood revealed. “They said, ‘Oh, we don’t want you to do that! Why would you be Taylor Swift’s boy toy?’ And I said, ‘Why the hell not?'”

The “Wildest Dreams” music video has been viewed over 480 million times on YouTube, so it ultimately paid off for Scott Eastwood by getting him a ton of exposure. Taylor Swift’s fanbase might not be very familiar with his father’s work, so Scott was making a smart career move by trying to appeal to young’uns who won’t just view him as Clint Eastwood’s son.

The 30-year-old Suicide Squad star is continuing to endear himself to Swifties by heaping praise on the “Shake It Off” singer, and she could definitely use it right now. Taylor is still trying to shake off the damage done by Kanye West’s controversial decision to leak a recorded conversation he had with her about his song “Famous.” Because of the scandal, Taylor hasn’t been very active on social media lately. However, Scott Eastwood told the Huffington Post that Swift’s use of Twitter and Instagram has inspired him to use his own social media pages to interact with his fans.

“You look at great people like Taylor Swift, who is a fantastic role model to young women, and if I can sort of follow that path, that’s a nice thing to do.”

Scott Eastwood’s Suicide Squad costar, Jared Leto, also had something nice to say about Taylor Swift during his recent interview with GQ. According to Jared, Taylor actually reminds him of someone very special to him.

“She’s great. She triggers a conversation with myself about what’s possible. And you know, the thing I like about Taylor is she’s a self-made woman. I see that in my mother.”

Leto also commended Taylor for not letting controversies, like her feud with Kanye West, keep her from continuing to be a huge success.

“There were probably points in Taylor’s career where someone else maybe would have been knocked off balance by criticism or other challenges, and she just kept marching forward,” Leto said.

However, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman hasn’t always been a Swift supporter. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Leto had to issue an apology to Swift last December after saying that he doesn’t “give a f**k” about her in a video shared by TMZ. Leto claimed that the video was stolen and sued TMZ for posting it.

While Taylor Swift may have many male admirers in Hollywood, Tom Hiddleston is the only man who is on her mind right now. A source recently told Hollywood Life that Taylor and her British boyfriend have been forced to spend some time apart while he films Thor: Ragnarock in Australia. However, Tom Hiddleston is never far from Taylor Swift’s thoughts.

“They are enjoying the break from each other, but are always talking and send each other messages throughout the day,” a source revealed. “Plus with them being apart the absence is definitely making the heart grow fonder. They really are seeing that their relationship is strong because they are thinking of each other a lot while they are away from each other.”

There’s no word on how Tom Hiddleston feels about the two DC Comics dudes talking about his girlfriend while they promote Suicide Squad, but Taylor Swift probably isn’t complaining about Scott Eastwood and Jared Leto’s kind words.
