Luann De Lesseps Ignores Cheating Rumors And Continues Happy Delusion

Luann de Lesseps has a few stories on this season of The Real Housewives of New York: She has found love and she wants to get married — and she doesn’t really care about anyone anymore. Despite being single when the season began, it didn’t take long for her to find someone to date. Within weeks, they were engaged and are now planning their wedding. Sadly, the man who Luann had chosen has a past with both Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, and despite this connection, she doesn’t really care about her friends.

According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps has been on this high for the entire season, where she can’t stop saying how happy she is. She’s clearly in the honeymoon phase and wants everyone to know just how happy she is.

However, many of her Real Housewives of New York stars believe that she may be a bit delusional when it comes to her new boyfriend. And when Bethenny Frankel received some incriminating text messages and a picture of him making out with another woman just 48 hours before his engagement party to Luann, the ladies felt he had been caught. But rather than listen to her friends’ concerns about her, she’s tired of her co-stars talking about their past relationships with Thomas D’Agostino.

“I felt bad that I lost my temper with Ramona, but I’d had enough of her making a couple of dates with Tom into something it wasn’t. As for Sonja, I understand that in the past she enjoyed Tom’s company and their friendship, and I want them to still be friends…just different kinds of friends,” Luann de Lesseps explains on her blog for Bravo, sharing that she was very upset with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan “obsessing” over Thomas despite her being engaged to him.

Ramona, Sonja, Dorinda Medley, and Carole Radziwill attended de Lesseps’ engagement party in Palm Beach on the yacht she had borrowed from a friend. While de Lesseps was having a great time with her friends, some of the ladies felt that D’Agostino was acting weird. And when he gave Sonja a compliment for smelling like a grapefruit, some of the ladies thought he was crossing the line. But Luann can justify his behavior, saying that he was only interested in her that night.

“Tom enjoyed the night as well, and he was blissfully unaware that Ramona and Sonja were still focusing on him. That’s why I love him! His comment to Ramona about smelling like a grapefruit was innocent, and he was trying to be nice. I can assure you, the only gazing Tom did across the room that night was at me!” Luann de Lesseps continues on her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, clearly showing her delusion and her blindness when it comes to Thomas.

Of course, Bethenny Frankel didn’t attend the engagement party because she arrived in Miami a day later. Before leaving for the trip, she received some text messages and a picture that showed Thomas cheating on Luann de Lesseps before their engagement party. She tried to ask Luann about their relationship, just in case they had an arrangement, and de Lesseps didn’t catch the hint that she may have known something.

“Why would she ask if Tom and I are monogamous? We are engaged to be married! I felt like Bethenny was being very coy with me, not mean, not argumentative, but coy and it unsettled me. We’ve all had situations where we had to decide whether or not to tell a friend about something we’ve heard, and every situation is different,” Luann de Lesseps points out on her blog, sharing that she isn’t sure whether Bethenny had the right intentions.

According to the Daily Mail, Bethenny claims to have the photo that proves he was making out with another woman before his engagement party. He has since admitted to doing things he’s not proud of.
