Angelina Jolie ‘Caught’ Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Back Together? Plus, Actor Had ‘Electric’ Chemistry With Marion Cotillard

Was Brad Pitt caught with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston?

According to a new report, Angelina Jolie, the wife of Brad Pitt and mother of his six children, recently caught Pitt and Aniston together, which has allegedly led to tension in their marriage.

“Brad Caught With Jen,” reads the cover of In Touch Weekly’s latest issue, which also promises to reveal what Angelina Jolie saw. In the magazine, a source claims Pitt attempted to smooth over the situation between himself and Jolie, but unfortunately, she wasn’t buying the reason behind their alleged meet-up.

Brad Pitt “told Angelina that it had been two months since Jen’s mom, Nancy, died and he wanted to see how she was doing,” a source told the magazine, according to a report by Gossip Cop on August 3.

In response, the insider claimed, “[Angelina Jolie] accused Brad of sneaking behind her back with Jen and yelled that he’d ruined all their new plans for the future. They’ve run into another land mine, and it all has to do with Brad reconnecting with Jen again.”

According to the magazine, Angelina Jolie sees Aniston as her “ultimate rival.” Ever since she was “caught” with her husband, she and Brad Pitt have been exchanging “icy glares and stony silences.”

“Their fragile marriage has blown up, and it’s all over Jen. That phone call was a betrayal as far as Angelina’s concerned,” the source claimed, also noting that Aniston’s marriage to Justin Theroux was not in a good place.

In August 2015, just one year after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot at their home in France after nearly a decade of dating, Aniston and Theroux got married at their Bel Air, California, mansion surrounded by several of their celebrity friends, including Courteney Cox and Ellen DeGeneres.

In response to the In Touch Weekly report, Gossip Cop spoke to a source close to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who insisted there was “no truth” to the magazine’s story. As the source revealed, there have been no calls between Pitt and Aniston, nor is Pitt and Jolie’s marriage in trouble.

In other Brad Pitt news, a trailer for the 52-year-old actor’s latest film, Allied, was released this week, giving fans their first look at the World War II drama in which Pitt stars alongside Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan, both of whom he was linked to during filming.

“[Brad Pitt] and Marion immediately had the utmost respect for each other, so once they delved into their characters, their chemistry was electric,” the producer of the film, Graham King, revealed to People Magazine.

“It was crucial for Brad and Marion to not only begin rehearsing together before the shoot, but they also spent a lot of time developing their characters with the director, Robert Zemeckis,” King explained. “By the time we got to set, it was really amazing to see these characters already feel lived in and real.”

Earlier this year, Brad Pitt was targeted with rumors claiming he was caught kissing Caplan, who plays his sister, on the set of the film. Around the same time, it was alleged that Pitt had engaged in an inappropriate relationship with Cotillard, who plays his wife in the film, and began cheating on his wife, Angelina Jolie.

As of this writing, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not yet released a statement regarding the latest rumors.
