Sharon Osbourne Stands By Ozzy’s Side As He Admits To 6 Years Of Sex Addiction: Mistress Michelle Pugh Says It Was Love

Sharon Osbourne is standing by her man. The long-suffering wife of Ozzy Osbourne has decided to stand by his side as he deals with sex addiction. In a post to fans on Facebook, Ozzy revealed that he is in treatment to deal with his issues, and he even apologized to his most recent mistress, Michelle Pugh.

“Over the last 6 years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction,” Osbourne wrote. “I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with.”

While the Black Sabbath frontman also added that “out of bad comes good,” he revealed that since his secret life was exposed by the press, he is now undergoing intense therapy. He also revealed that Sharon Osbourne, his wife of 34 years, is supporting him through the process.

“I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family,” Osbourne wrote. “I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”

Shortly after her husband’s announcement, Sharon Osbourne appeared on The Talk to address the situation.

“He’s [been] going to outpatient for sex addiction for the last 3 months and after the Black Sabbath tour, he goes into inpatient for 3 months,” Sharon told her co-host on the CBS chatfest. “He’s working at it.”

In the video, which you can see below, Sharon admitted that Ozzy’s revelation affected their whole family and that it’s more embarrassing to talk about than his past issues.

“It’s hard because it affects the whole family and it’s quite embarrassing to talk about,” Sharon said. “Drugs and drinking is more acceptable, but when it’s somebody who has a sex addiction, it’s more embarrassing. I am proud he has come out and admitted it finally. It’s very very hard.”

While Sharon is standing by her man, Michelle Pugh doesn’t agree with the rocker’s assessment of their affair. Pugh told People that her relationship with Osbourne was about more than just sex.

“When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it,” Michelle revealed in a new interview. “He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world… We just had it. It’s that indescribable thing in life, and you can’t deny it. And he didn’t.”

Sharon Osbourne announced her split from her husband in May after she discovered he had been having an affair with Michelle Pugh, his hair colorist, for four years. At the time, Sharon said she was unsure if she could ever forgive her husband for the betrayal.

But in June, Sharon told the Los Angeles Times that she would consider forgiving Ozzy if he did one very important thing.

“Ideally, I would love for my husband to deal with his issues and work at the problems that he has now,” Sharon said. “And be honest and open… to be able to come back to us with honesty and respect for the family. That’s what I really wish.”

At the time, Sharon admitted that she wasn’t sure if she could ever trust the rock legend again.

“I admire and respect him. And that’s what I expect back: respect,” Sharon said. “I didn’t get that. It’s very hurtful when you don’t get that respect and consideration from your partner… Can I ever trust him again? I don’t know. I’m now questioning every statement, every move.”

Sharon also explained that she forgave Ozzy in the past when he was dealing with the drinking and drug problems that ravaged their marriage. Sharon said they got back together after a short split three years ago because her husband was committed to getting clean and was ashamed of his actions. While he has been sober ever since, sadly, there was one addiction he didn’t beat — but he’s working on it now.
