‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Negan’s New Look For Season 7 Revealed?
The Walking Dead Season 7 is one of the most highly anticipated TV shows of the fall, and many fans are dying to hear any new spoilers or news about what to expect when the hit zombie series returns in October.
While many Walking Dead fans are caught up in which one of their favorite characters may have died in the Season 6 finale, others are all about the newest character, super villain Negan.
Negan was a name heard in many episodes during the previous season, but he was only seen for the last few minutes of the season finale. Now, Negan has basically become a household name for Walking Dead fans, who have become intrigued by what the character will have to bring to the upcoming episodes of the show.
In Season 7, Negan will continue to be a force to be reckoned with, but he may also get a new look. According to Comic Book, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been sporting a new look, which has some fans talking about the future of Negan.

During a recent outing, one Walking Dead fan spotted Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who portrays Negan, and snapped a quick photo with the two actors. The fan pointed out that Morgan’s salt and pepper beard was noticeably gone. Does this mean that Negan shaved his beard to look more like the comic book version of the character? It could be.
Recently, Jeffrey revealed that The Walking Dead was shooting the seventh episode of Season 7. Each episode reportedly takes about a week to film, and since there are only eight episodes before the show’s big mid-season break, it is possible that Negan changes his look in the mid-season finale. However, Jeffrey Dean Morgan may have just decided to lose the scruff while the show was on a bit of a filming break.
However, the report does reveal that one thing Morgan’s new look doesn’t mean is Negan’s death. Negan is still alive in the comic book series, and he has so much more to do on the show before writers would ever dream of killing him off. It looks like Negan is here to stay for the foreseeable future, and fans are going to be in for a wild ride when Season 7 begins airing.
Of course, Walking Dead viewers know that the first thing on the agenda in Season 7 is finding out which member of Rick’s group Negan killed. In the Season 6 finale, fans watched as the new character brutally killed one beloved member of the group by bashing their head in with his weapon of choice, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, which he has named Lucille.
As for which character Negan killed in the season finale, Walking Dead fans have been trying to figure that out for months with no solid proof. Unfortunately, all signs are pointing to the character of Glenn Rhee being the unlucky victim. Glenn is Negan’s comic book victim, and actor Steven Yeun hasn’t been seen on set much throughout Season 7 filming, leaving fans worried for the future of his character.
Meanwhile, fans are waiting impatiently for the Season 7 premiere on October 23. However, they will have two pre-season specials to help fill the void until the show is back in action.
