Yolanda Foster Speaks Of ‘Pain’ And ‘Hardship’ As David Foster Goes Public With Potential New Girlfriend

Yolanda Foster may be going through hardships due to the recent news of her former husband David’s alleged new romance.

Following David’s outing with Dr. Phil producer Carla Pennington, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram, where she shared a telling meme about pain, which read, “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”

“Pain makes us grow but suffering is a choice………. #Hardship #Blessings,” Yolanda Foster wrote in the caption of her August 1 post.

Yolanda Foster and David announced they were ending their marriage after just four years on December 1, 2015, the day of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 premiere. However, it wasn’t until the season neared its end that their divorce was discussed by the cast. Then, during the Season 6 finale episode, Yolanda Foster opened up about the split during a conversation with her friend, Erika Girardi, at her new condo in Los Angeles.

Also during Season 6, Yolanda Foster opened up about her battle with Lyme disease, which she’s been open about on social media and on the show since her 2012 diagnosis.

A short time later, Yolanda Foster appeared on The Dr. Oz Show, where she spoke of her Lyme disease and how it affected her short-lived marriage to David, whom she wed just months before her diagnosis.

“The patient suffers, but the caretakers suffer too. Because life doesn’t only change for us, it changes for the person next to you,” Yolanda Foster explained to Dr. Oz during an appearance on his talk show, according to a report by Us Weekly.

“At the end of the day, David never changed, I changed,” Yolanda Foster continued. “Unfortunately, these are the cards that life dealt me. It wasn’t by choice. But I’m not the woman I used to be and I probably will never be again. My focus, my energy goes to trying to get well, trying to make a difference, trying to find a cure for my children … and David’s life is really traveling, going to concerts, loud music. And I mean, I couldn’t, I can barely listen to the radio.”

In early March, Yolanda Foster’s ex-husband appeared to move on from their marriage with actress Selma Blair. Just months after their split announcement, David reportedly enjoyed a “cozy” dinner date with Blair at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood, California.

“Selma and David were alone together at dinner and they looked really cozy,” an eyewitness told Radar Online at the time.

While reports claimed the two were an item, nothing ever came of the romance and at the end of July, Yolanda Foster’s former partner stepped out with Pennington at Craig’s Restaurant.

According to Radar Online, Pennington has worked as executive producer on a new of television shows, including The Amber Rose Show, The Doctors, and The Test.

As for Yolanda Foster’s own dating life, the former reality star doesn’t appear to be seeing anyone at this point. However, when it comes to the future, she’s going to have a ton of extra time on her hands now that she is no longer a part of the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On Instagram in June, Yolanda Foster revealed to her fans and followers that she would not be featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ seventh season. Foster appeared on the Bravo reality show as a full-time housewife from Season 3 until Season 6.
