Duggars Say John David, Joseph, And Josiah All Likely To Enter Courtship Before Jana Duggar
With Jinger Duggar announcing she is engaged to Jeremy Vuolo, many are asking when Jana Duggar will have her turn at love. Jana Duggar has long been a fan favorite, with many viewers hoping to watch her enter a courtship and start a family of her own. However, Michelle and Jim Bob have revealed that Jana is not a likely candidate for a new courtship, as John David, Joseph, and Josiah are disclosed as the Duggar children most likely to enter a courtship in the latest season of Counting On.

The Duggar family has revealed that Counting On has been renewed for another season, with the Season 2 premiere airing on August 23, 2016. Duggar fans are aware the the season will heavily focus on Jinger Duggar’s courtship with Jeremy Vuolo, which the family has revealed led to an engagement. However, the Duggars say there are other things to look forward to this season regarding some of the other adult children in the large family.
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar reveal some of the possible “plot twists” in the upcoming season of Counting On. It is revealed that Jill and Derick Dillard will be returning to Arkansas along with their son, Israel, after living in Central America over the past year. Meanwhile, Jessa and Ben Seewald are reportedly discussing the possibility of expanding their family via adoption.
“Jill and Derick are returning to Arkansas after a year of balancing mission work and raising their 1 ½ year-old son in Central America. Ben and Jessa are experiencing all the excitement of being new parents and possible plans for adoption, while Ben simultaneously organizes a football camp with ex-NFL players to mentor kids.”

However, it seems the other adult children in the family will also get some air time with the Duggars hinting at the possibility of some new courtships. While many Duggar fans had hoped that Jana Duggar would be the prime candidate for the next courtship, Jim Bob and Michelle indicate that the eldest Duggar daughter will likely not be the next Duggar child to enter a courtship. Instead, the Duggars hint that either John David, Joseph, or Josiah may be entering a courtship before the end of this season.
“Joy, Jedidiah and Jeremiah are also reaching a milestone with high school graduation rapidly approaching. And, these three aren’t the only ones growing up; could John David, Joseph and Josiah be pursuing courtships? These siblings aren’t kids anymore, and each new relationship, parenting challenge and exciting endeavor are a reminder of how much they’ve grown.”
Though Jana Duggar is likely not going to enter into a courtship anytime soon, she is still a solid fixture around the Duggar home. When Jana is featured on the Duggar family’s official Facebook page, she is always taking care of Duggar business. Jana is the resident artist, childcare provider, home improvement specialist, and gardener. From taking care of the families many young children to ensuring that the garden is in prime condition, Jana seems to be the one in charge of running the Duggar household.
With Jana spending so much time tending to her large family, it appears she doesn’t have the time or desire to to focus on building a relationship with a potential husband.
