Jesse Tyler Ferguson Engaged To Justin Mikita [Video Announcement]

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson is tying the knot! The star of TV and Broadway on Wednesday announced his engagement to lawyer Justin Mikita.

Furguson announced his engagement in a video posted to the Gay Marriage rights website Tie the Knot where he fights for marriage equality for all couples regardless of sex, gender or race.

In his video Ferguson reveals:

“It’s true, I popped the big Q.”

Mikita then appears and adds:

“I said yes!”

The 36-year-old Ferguson and 27-year-old Mikita have been dating for two years.

Ferguson announced the engagement on Tie The Knot in the hopes that it will raise awareness to the need for a national law that recognizes gay marriage throughout the United States.

Jesse and Justin have also teamed with Tie Bar to create a bowties collection in which all proceeds will be donated to various gay and lesbian couples organizations.

Lawyer + openly gay actor with public appeal, this union was practically tailored for gay rights activism.
