Taylor Swift can add another name to her growing list of feuds.
Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario just slammed Taylor in the wake of her recent drama with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, claiming that she’s actually “appalled” by Swift and what she claimed is her false dedication to feminism.
Troian was asked about the recent drama between the stars in a new interview with Cosmopolitan, but despite reluctantly admitting that she’s on Team Swift, Taylor certainly didn’t get away unscathed when it came to Bellisario’s seriously scornful words that also included a cutting attack on the Kardashians.
“I’m so appalled by what I consider to be her false feminism,” Bellisario told the magazine of how she really feels about Swift, who has long claimed that she’s a dedicated feminist. “It seems [Taylor’s] like this person who’s like, ‘Sisterhood!’ and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends.”
Troian didn’t explicitly reference which of Swift’s past actions she was referring to, though it appears that Bellisario was discussing Taylor’s past drama with Katy Perry who she took serious aim at in the 2014 single “Bad Blood.”
Bellisario, who has appeared as Spencer Hastings on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars since the drama first began back in 2010, then went on to admit that she “guesses” she’s on Taylor Swift’s side following her recent drama with Kim and Kanye before opting to take serious aim at the reality family.
“God, I have such an aversion to the Kardashians,” Troian told the magazine of her disdain for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars, including Kim and her famous sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as well as the trio’s younger half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
“I literally don’t understand people’s obsession with them,” Troian scathingly continued of the family. “I don’t want to accept them as our closest thing to a royal family,” Bellisario admitted.
Troian’s harsh words in the wake of Taylor’s latest feud with Kardashian and West comes after Swift has long voiced her dedication to feminism, even telling Maxim in 2015 that she believes the social crusade is “most important movement.”
Taylor admitted to the magazine last year that she “didn’t quite see all the ways that feminism is vital to growing up in the world we live in,” but claimed that “misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born.”
“So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it’s just basically another word for equality,” Taylor continued.
But despite Swift’s numerous feminist confessions, Troian is just the latest star to call out Taylor for her “fake feminism.”
Demi Lovato also slammed Taylor over her feminism claims on social media earlier this year, putting Swift on serious blast after she donated $250,000 to Kesha in the wake of her legal drama with Sony and Dr Luke.
“Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed,” Demi tweeted at the time.
Lovato then confirmed that her cryptic tweet was aimed at Taylor in an interview with Refinery29, where Demi also put Swift on blast once again by claiming she refuses to put in the work to be a “real” feminist, just months before Bellisario slammed the star.
“There are women that I don’t get along with, and that’s fine,” Lovato said when asked if her tweet was about Swift’s very vocal support of feminism. “My thing is, don’t brand yourself a feminist if you don’t do the work.”
