Mariah Carey’s Diva Demands Keep On Coming, While Nick Reacts To Her ‘Complex’ Interview

Mariah Carey is known for all of the diva demands she has made over her two plus decades in the spotlight as a superstar songstress. The singer has not cooled it on ensuring she gets what she wants, either. Most recently, it’s been reported that Mariah expects restaurants to play her music as she enters the establishment with her soon-to-be hubby James Packer.

A recent report out of Capri, where Mariah and James recently vacationed, states that Mariah’s music was playing at the restaurant she dined at with friends, from the time the diva entered, right until the end of the meal. Celebuzz relays the account that was given to Page Six in regards to Carey’s entrance.

“Patrons at Ristorante Aurora in Capri, Italy were enjoying a peaceful dinner when a Mariah Carey song suddenly started playing. That’s when Carey herself and her fiancé James Packer walked into the restaurant, according to Page Six.”

The insider who spoke to the publication shared, “She literally had an entrance song.” Although the entrance was a touch surprising, patrons say she was “charismatic” and “boisterous” with her party who were in attendance, joining the couple at their table. Carey’s party included about 10 guests, of which Uma Thurman’s ex Arki Busson was one.

Additionally, sources say following Mariah’s arrival, the singer’s music played throughout the entirety of the evening which suggests that her entourage brought their own playlist and insisted it be played.

“She was in a great mood and was nice to everyone, even posing for some pictures with some kids,” the insider added.

The recently-engaged couple were reportedly vacationing off the coast on James Packer’s yacht, with Carey’s 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Mariah Carey has been quite busy lately, aside from when she and James are vacationing on his luxury yacht. Carey is to cover the latest issue of Complex Magazine, for which she gave a candid interview about her new love with James, her reality show that is soon to air, and her divorce from Nick Cannon.

Mariah was very honest about the disappointment she felt in going through another separation and divorce, stating “I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced. But life happens and it was supposed to happen. It’s fine. For [my children], I wish it hadn’t happened that way.”

Nick Cannon has commented on Mariah’s words, noting that they feel very similar about the end of the marriage. E! shares the America’s Got Talent host’s words on the topic.

“I think we have the same sentiments when it comes to that. We’re working it out and it’s the best it possibly could be.”

The pair have made headlines for their amicable nature with one another and their maturity in ensuring their children come first before any relationship drama. While Mariah moves on in her relationship with her billionaire beau, Nick has also reportedly put himself back on the market. There have even been rumors that the star is spending time romantically with TLC songstress Chilli. E! shares words of a source who ignited these claims.

“[Cannon and TLC songstress Chilli ]have been hanging out romantically. Chilli is a very mature woman that’s been around the music industry for sometime and gets it. Nick has always had a crush on her growing up. He thinks she is beautiful.”

However, Nick has shrugged off these rumors while ensuring to share how much respect he has for the singer.

“[Chilli] is a wonderful and amazing person. I’m always going to be blushing, giggling when you talk about someone like that because her heart is so pure. Every time I’m next to somebody apparently that’s my new fling. I have the utmost respect for her and her beautiful spirit.”
