Tori Spelling Rushed To Hospital, Undergoes Surgery For Post-Pregnancy Complications

Actress Tori Spelling was rushed to the hospital over the weekend and underwent surgery to fix a dangerous complication brought about after the recent birth of her child.

Spelling was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, and details about the complication she was facing has not yet been fully revealed.

Tori’s reps tell EOnline that the complication was directly related to Tori Spelling’s c-section, which was performed on August 30. The c-section at the time led to the healthy birth of Tori Spelling’s son Finn, her 4th child.

Spelling is still in the hospital where she is said to be alert and recovering nicely from her emergency procedure.

This is not the first time Tori Spelling has suffered from postpartum complications. Last year after giving birth to 3rd child Hattie, the mother of four was hospitalized because of severe migraines.

Tori’s reps released the following statement:

“Tori Spelling underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her C section. She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably.”

Tori is married to Dean McDermott, and they are the parents to Finn; Stella, 4; and Liam, 5 as well as McDermott’s 13-year-old son from a prior marriage.

The surgery comes just weeks after Tori Spelling personally showed off her son to the world via Twitter.

Our best wishes go out to Tori Spelling as she recovers from her emergency surgery.
