Jinger Duggar Is Engaged! Reality Star Set To Get Married
The rumors have been flying, and now, the official word is out that Jinger Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting is engaged. People shared the big news today with fans of the show. Jinger has been courting former professional soccer player, Jeremy Vuolo. The two look like a great match, but fans haven’t even had the chance to meet him just yet considering the show hasn’t been airing.
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo gave a statement to People sharing about their big engagement.
“So excited to share this news that we are now engaged. From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship. We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together. It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days.”
As The Inquisitr shared last week, there was already speculation that Jeremy and Jinger were engaged. They recently took a photo, and it was obvious that Jinger was hiding her ring finger in the picture. She might have been hiding a big engagement ring that she just wasn’t ready for the fans to see yet.
Jinger and Jeremy met last May through her sister Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald. They went on a mission trip together, and it turns out that Jinger and Jeremy really hit it off. Things sound like they have been great for the couple from the very start.
Another big announcement came out in this People release, and that is Counting On will return on August 23. So far, TLC had been saying that another season was coming later this summer. Fans can’t wait to see this season and actually get to know Jeremy better.
The new preview for Counting On shows that a lot of next season will be about Jinger Duggar and her courtship. Fans love to see this part of the Duggar’s life and are excited to watch it. This is the only way that they will get to know Jeremy better.

The preview shows Jeremy and Jinger giving a side hug, which is allowed during courting. Another big thing that it shows is that Jessa will be talking again about how she wants to adopt a baby with her husband, Ben. Derick Dillard is seen saying that they should try to have another baby before next year. It also looks like Jinger’s big proposal will be seen this season on the show.
People originally announced that Jinger Duggar and Jeremy were courting just a month ago, but that wasn’t when it all started. At the time, Jinger shared that she really got to know him on their mission trip and said, “It was there that I really saw his heart and really admired his character.”
When a Duggar starts courting, the couple just gets to know each other and see if a relationship would work. There is no kissing at all until they are married, and they don’t even hold hands until they are engaged. Now Jeremy and Jinger can start to hold hands, but they will still have someone around them until they are actually married to help make sure they don’t take things too far.
