‘The Originals’ Season 4: Keelin Prisoner Of Mikaelsons, Marcel And Vincent’s Alliance, And More Spoilers

The Originals Season 4 will not premiere until 2017. However, the cast and crew attended Comic-Con 2016 and revealed major spoilers. Some of those include Keelin becoming a “prisoner” of the Mikaelsons, Marcel and Vincent’s alliance, Klaus’ possible reaction to seeing Hope after five years, and more.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Christina Moses of Containment was cast in The Originals. She will play Keelin, a bisexual werewolf who is a doctor. Trying to avoid those hunting her for the “venom cure business,” Keelin tries to lay low and hide from her enemies. There are rumors that she may be the key to saving the Mikaelsons and executive producer Julie Plec confirmed this at Comic-Con.

Plec said that Keelin could be the Mikaelsons’ hope for survival. However, she is tough and doesn’t like it very much. Can Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) convince Keelin to help? Or will Hope’s mother be forced to take drastic measures?

In an interview with TVLine, other spoilers for The Originals were revealed. Regarding Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent’s (Yusuf Gatewood) relationship, they are not friends. However, the two do have an alliance. Both want what is best for New Orleans, but Vincent is keeping a close eye on Marcel Gerard. As fans recall, Vincent was not too thrilled with Marcel’s actions in the Season 3 finale. He gave the vampire a warning and he will stand up to Marcel if it is necessary. The days of him holding back are gone after what he did to Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and his siblings.

One interesting storyline in The Originals is going to be Marcel finding out that Freya (Riley Voelkel), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Rebekah (Claire Holt), and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are alive. Instead of dying, like Marcel thought, Freya transported them to a dreamscape, Entertainment Weekly reported. Their lives are tethered to Klaus’ and they must wait for a cure. Hayley has their caskets in the back of a moving truck and has left New Orleans with Hope. She will be searching for a cure, but will stay in contact with them in the dream world, executive producer Michael Narducci teased to TVLine.

What other spoilers for The Originals Season 4 were revealed at Comic-Con? There will be a time jump of five years. Instead of being a baby, Hope will be 7 years old. How will Klaus react to find out he missed so many important milestones? Joseph Morgan said that he will be upset. The actor also speculated that Klaus will be nervous to meet Hope. He wants his daughter’s forgiveness and hopes she understands that the sacrifice was made to protect her.

As for what Hope will be like, that wasn’t revealed. However, Phoebe Tonkin guessed that she will probably have a lot of Klaus’ traits. One fact that they did give is that Hope will be a big part of the story in Season 4. Before she was just a baby in the corner or that was being carried around. When The Originals returns, she will be walking and talking. Julie Plec said that when discussing the storyline, they wondered how much a seven-year-old could understand. They ended up watching Drew Barrymore in Firestarter and realized that some kids that age are pretty smart and resourceful.
