Britney Spears Gives Shout Out To Fans For Loving And Promoting Her New Hit Song

Britney Spears has finally given fans what they have been waiting so very long for, new music. The busy mom of two and Vegas resident has just dropped her latest single, “Make Me…,” and is quickly finding her way up the charts with the saucy track.

Fans are not disappointed in the slightest with the catchy tune, and a few Brit enthusiasts recently made their love for Spears and the single known while they attended a political rally. Billboard shares about the free promotion Spears got for the new track via a political rally for the RNC.

“Looks like Britney Spears is getting free promotion for her new single ‘Make Me…’ thanks to some dedicated fans at this week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Spears posted a screen shot on Twitter of a fan holding up a handmade sign that reads ‘Buy “Make Me” on iTunes’ during a TV news broadcast of what appears to be a rally at the RNC.”

Britney then took to her social media account to show appreciation for fans who held up the signs at the rally, saluting them for their support. The entertainer shared her love on Twitter following seeing the clip on television.

“Britney Army… I salute you on this one,” Spears tweeted, along with an American flag emoji, the hashtag #MakeMe and an iTunes link to the single.

The highly-anticipated single that features G Eazy, dropped last week and will be featured on the singer’s ninth studio album, which is set for release in the near future. The single debuted on the top of the charts alongside Katy Perry’s latest track. Billboard reported on the immediate top ten for Spears and the “Rise” singer, who debuted at No. 2.

“…superstar pop diva, Britney Spears,… rallies to a top 10 debut on Top Tracks with ‘Make Me’ (featuring G-Eazy) at No. 6. As with Perry’s ‘Rise,’ Spears debuted her new song at midnight on July 15 across all digital retailers and streaming services. The new release powers Spears to 224,000 Twitter mentions for the week, up 303 percent, and rockets the superstar 36-16 on the Social 50 chart.”

Thanks to Spears, G Eazy has earned his highest ranking on the charts yet due to the collaboration. The rapper’s previous best ranking was at No. 18 with the track “Tumblr Girls” that featured Christoph Andersson back in February of 2015.

It’s no secret that Britney Spears has found her place back on top over the past couple of years. The star saw some difficult times for both her professional and personal life over the past decade, yet being single has seemed to keep the diva focused. Spears has found herself a stable Vegas residency that keeps fans showing up in droves to see her perform, and her latest tracks have not been a disappointment to fans. The mother of two has reportedly been following the advice of a life coach to keep her at her best, like she is at the moment.

As the Inquisitr recently noted, Spears may be involving another A-list musician on one of her hit tracks and has gotten fans of the two stars excited for a possible collaboration. This week Brit teased fans of she and Selena Gomez, that the two might get together in studio for a duet. Anti Music shares about the possible collaboration that was mentioned over Twitter by Spears.

“Britney Spears may duet with Selena Gomez and it’s all thanks to Twitter. It started when a Selena fan account shared a video of Gomez explaining that she’s already technically teamed with Spears, on the charity single ‘Hands,’ which benefits the victims of the Pulse nightclub shootings in Orlando… We know Britney is down, she tweeted the following message in response: ‘Technically, yes… But when are we working on our actual duet @selenagomez?’ For now fans wait with bated breath.”
