Is Taylor Swift Back In Rhode Island Or Did She Follow Tom Hiddleston To Los Angeles?
Fans have been wondering about Taylor Swift’s whereabouts ever since the pop princess was exposed by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on Snapchat. She has been in Australia with her new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, who is filming his next Thor movie.
The couple has since arrived back to the states. According to a report via the New York Times, Swift has been staying at her home in Rhode Island for most of the summer. Swift purchased a home for $17.75 million, where she holds her annual Fourth of July parties that includes her A-list squad. Rhode Island was also the very spot where Swift, 26, was spotted kissing Hiddleston, 35, on a beach near her home shocking fans and setting the internet on fire.
Fans who try to get a sneak peek of the singer-songwriter in the state are greeted with “No Trespassing” signs around her house’s perimeter. There’s also one sign that reads, “I knew you were trouble when you walked in,” a reference to one of Taylor’s songs. However, some fans have remained hopeful that they will spot Taylor one day. Maya Fontaine, a 17-year-old staff member for the National Historic Register, said that she’s holding out hope.
“I’m here working almost every day,” she told the New York Times. “We’re, like, Taylor Swift fanatics in my house. Our manager told us that if we do see her, not to shout or draw attention, because that wouldn’t be polite.”
But Fontaine won’t catch a glimpse of Swift anytime soon. That’s because the singer is back in Los Angeles. Swift and Hiddleston were photographed together, as usual, on Thursday, July 21 after their latest trip to Australia. The couple arrived in Los Angeles and held hands as they wore matching casual ensembles. Swift wore a black T-shirt with dark denim jeans and white Adidas Stan Smith sneakers and carried a brown Louis Vuitton monogram bag, according to In Style. Meanwhile, Hiddleston wore his signature navy blue quilted jacket with black jeans and gray suede shoes.
The singer appeared to be all smiles even though her eyes were covered by dark sunglasses. Even Tom was smiling as he quietly spoke to Taylor. The pop star even made a brave solo emergence from her L.A. mansion for some time at the gym, according to another report in Jezebel. According to the report, Taylor was photographed wearing a black Nike jacket, gray printed leggings and black sunglasses. She managed to avoid the paparazzi since she already had her iPhone earphones in her ears.
In addition, Swift’s iPhone screen also appeared to be cracked. Fans have been speculating whether she broke her phone in a fit of rage when Kardashian took her down last Sunday night on Snapchat by revealing that Swift did approve West’s controversial song “Famous.” Swift wasn’t totally alone though. Hiddleston, who was reportedly driven by Swift’s security, showed up to the gym on his own sporting a black Nike T-shirt.
While Taylor has been enjoying the gym life, Tom made an appearance at San Diego’s Comic-Con without his girl by his side. That’s because the actor had to promote his upcoming movie, Kong: Skull Island. In case you’re wondering, Taylor’s name was never mentioned during the sold-out panel.
Instead, fans were enchanted by Hiddleston’s appearance. According to E! News, some of them screamed out “I love you, Tom,” in which he responded, “I love you, too.” When it comes to Netflix and chilling, Hiddleston says he loves to watch Fawlty Towers.
Taylor Swift hasn’t since spoken out about the “Famous” controversy since she wrote a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday night. Swift said that she never heard the song in full and that she never approved the “that b****” line.
