‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: Paranoia Consumes Houseguests, What Happens With New ‘BB18’ HOH? [Spoilers]

Big Brother 18 spoilers from Thursday night might be a bit surprising. The July 21 episode finished with a cliffhanger, as viewers didn’t find out anything about the upcoming Head of Household competition. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Tiffany Rousso got evicted from the BB18 house in a unanimous vote (8-0). Host Julie Chen then broke some pretty important news to the houseguests.

Included in the information that Chen gave out was the change from three nominees to just two each week. The teams were dissolved as well, meaning every houseguest is playing for themselves. Technically, that is how it appeared to be going down in the BB18 house through the first five weeks of the summer. The final immediate change is that the Roadkill competition has come to an end.

There are more Big Brother 18 spoilers that will come out during the presentation of the Battle Back competition on Friday night (July 22). CBS turned off the live feeds to the BB18 house in order to keep some secrecy about what is going to take place next. At the end of the July 21 episode, the house was in complete chaos after Julie Chen made her announcements. Several houseguests had scared expressions about what the game may have in store this summer. Something else she didn’t tell them (yet), was that an evicted houseguest would soon be re-entering the game.

Now that the teams are dissolved, the only person who will have guaranteed safety at the beginning of each week will be the HOH. The Veto winner and whomever they save during the Veto ceremony will also acquire safety, but there is no protection from teammates. That team safety may have kept Frank Eudy from getting evicted in each of the past two weeks, as he was protected by Bridgette Dunning and then Paulie Calafiore winning the HOH.

For anyone who hasn’t yet watched the July 21 episode, there were some unspoken Big Brother 18 spoilers that followed the “live” broadcast. The HOH competition didn’t take place because producers may have been holding off until the Battle Back competition is completed. There are two directions the show could go from that point. The first is to have the Battle Back winner participate in the next HOH competition. The second would be to automatically give the returning houseguest the power to make two nominations for eviction. That latter idea would certainly shake up the BB18 house.

A report from CBS revealed the specifics of how the Battle Back competition will work on Friday night (July 22). The special episode will take place at 8 p.m. PT/ET, with the live feeds expected to get turned back on once the West Coast episode has aired. This is an endeavor to keep a lot of secrets that could be playing out in the BB18 house. Typically, the nominations are made on Fridays, meaning the nominees for eviction may already be set when the Battle Back competition is shown to CBS viewers. Julie Chen did announce a schedule for when viewers will find out this information.

Glenn Garcia, Jozea Flores, Victor Arroyo, Bronte D’Acquisto, or Tiffany Rousso is about to get a second chance at competing for the $500,000 prize this summer. Producers will have a lot of footage saved up from the next few days to show during the Sunday, July 24, episode of the show. At least viewers will know which evicted houseguest is returning by then, plus live feed Big Brother 18 spoilers will likely hit social media in a big way. Twelve contestants are once again playing for the cash prize, but viewers are still left wondering which way producers will turn for the next twist.
