Demi Lovato Admits She Told Nick Jonas To Dump Girlfriend, Sleep Around

It is very obvious that Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato are good friends. The two have been out on tour with each other, and now Demi is speaking out about how she told Nick to dump his girlfriend, enjoy being young, and sleep around. Us Weekly shared what Nick and Demi both had to say about their relationship in a recent interview with each other and more. These two are just really close friends and nothing more.

Not long ago, Nick Jonas split from his long-time girlfriend Olivia Culpo. Nick hasn’t shared a lot of details about what happened during their split, but they were together for two years. Now Nick is sharing that he leaned on Demi and a few details of how it went down.

“I internalize things, so we have this rule that we never want to hear about it in a tweet or something. She’d read me the riot act, so she’s the third person I call — my dad, Joe, then Demi. She was like, ‘Just go, create and be free.’ She also said some other things …”

The thing is, Demi Lovato isn’t holding back at all, and she wasn’t a fan of Olivia. She went on to share her thoughts and what she told Nick Jonas.

“I go, ‘Honestly, I didn’t like her anyway.’ It’s not because she’s mean or anything, but he has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh. I can tell if something’s up because he’ll close off.”

Even though this was a hard time for Nick Jonas, it sounds like his good friend Demi Lovato thinks that this split was for the best. Demi really wanted Nick to have a good time and shared what she told him. It does sound like Demi might have even told Nick this while he was still with Olivia. She shared what she told him.

“He’s a guy in his twenties and he’s famous and he likes to have a lot of fun. Listen, even when he was in a relationship, I was like, ‘Get out of that. You could f**k anybody that you want right now, so have fun and do that.”

At this time, Demi Lovato is single. She used to date Wilmer Valderrama, but after six years they called it quits. Right now, Demi doesn’t have any big plans to date, but if it happens, it is okay with her. A new relationship is the furthest thing from her mind. The fact that Demi and Nick are so close has fans wondering if they might ever date, but so far they are keeping things friendly. Demi did have a bit of a romance with his brother Joe Jonas for a while.

Fox News also shared a bit more about what Demi Lovato had to say. She is teasing a bit that she got PTSD from being on Disney Channel. Of course, this isn’t true. Demi shared about it.

“We joked around that it was Disney High, except we all were shooting shows and really overworking. I joke that I sometimes have PTSD after leaving the channel, because if my schedule starts to get too busy, I rebel and get bitchy.”

Demi Lovato doesn’t regret the way things were for her, but she did share that she won’t let her kids act unless it is on their own terms. So far, it doesn’t look like Demi Lovato will be having children anytime soon, though. She is just enjoying life and being single.
