‘RHOC’ Star Meghan King Edmonds Makes A Shocking Confession About Her Troubled Marriage To Jimmy Edmonds
Meghan King Edmonds’ relationship with husband Jim Edmonds continues to fall apart on the Real Housewives of Orange County.
The reality star recently admitted that their struggles to have children are at the root of their marital problems. Will they work out their issues before the season is done?
According to Radar Online, Meghan and Jim exchanged vows back in 2014, one year prior to her joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County. Although the couple started on good footing, their relationship started to show cracks last season when Meghan was unable to bond with Jim’s daughter, Haley.
With the new season currently underway, it doesn’t look as though things are getting any better.
This year, Meghan and her husband are trying to have a baby through IVF. Jim can no longer have children after undergoing a vasectomy in a previous marriage.
Unfortunately, Jim is not interested in having more children, which is only making the process more difficult for Meghan.
“It is really frustrating to me that Jimmy doesn’t act more interested in the IVF process, especially considering that it has consumed my life,” Meghan admitted in her official Bravo blog.
In the latest episode of RHOC, Jim left for Florida while Meghan was forced to pick up sperm by herself.
“I understand that it can be an overwhelming process, and he had to be in Florida for spring training during most of it, but I was on a lot of hormones and was very emotional,” Meghan said. “It definitely would’ve been nice to have him pay more attention to the process, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t excited for us to have a baby.”
Apart from the baby drama, Reality Tea reports that Meghan recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live and showed off her new baby bump.
A caller even asked Meghan what her husband thought of their new child. In response, Meghan shared how Jim is thrilled about expanding their family, though it was difficult at first.
When it comes to naming her first child, Meghan and Jim haven’t come to an agreement just yet. They have, however, thought about a few names that run in the family, like Rose.
Meanwhile, Meghan also discussed her ongoing feud with Vicki Gunvalson and some advice she shared with newbie, Kelly Meza-Dodd.
“It was a little bit disappointing because I was actually trying to give Kelly some heartfelt advice so that she could really fit in with the whole group and that was her reaction,” Meghan told host Andy Cohen. “She minimized my advice and I was a little disappointed.”
Why doesn’t Meghan allow Dodd to do what she wants with Gunvalson?
“Oh, I will. I’ve always said that, but as her friend, I was just trying to give her some advice. Just to say that my experience has been great with Vicki and she tells a lot of lies.”
Speaking of Gunvalson, Meghan still hasn’t forgiven her for the cancer scam last season and isn’t about to start trusting her again.
