Chris Martin Parties With Rita Ora Despite Engagement Rumors Involving Annabelle Wallis?

Chris Martin had a lot to celebrate this week. Not only did his divorce from his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, get finalized this week, but also there have been rumors that he got engaged to his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis.

But it is a little strange that he has been partying it up with another girl — official party queen Rita Ora!

“Rita Ora seemed keen to impress another celebrity male friend on Sunday when the singer joined newly-divorced Chris Martin for dinner after catching Coldplay’s concert in New Jersey,” reports the Daily Mail.

But their meeting did not end there, as she went back to get changed for the afterparty. Reports claim she did not leave the musician’s hotel until “the morning after.”

This partying happened just days after Chris Martin and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, were officially handed their divorce papers. People reports that “the duo reached a divorce settlement in May, and their judgment was entered into a Los Angeles County courthouse on Thursday.”

The Coldplay singer must have been in a mood to party as he wrapped up his New Jersey concert.

Another reason for the singer to feel upbeat may be due to the fact that he is a newly engaged man. Two weeks ago, his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis, posted a picture on Instagram that showed a gigantic engagement ring on her hand.

“The [engagement] buzz started after 39-year-old Martin’s girlfriend, 31-year-old actress Annabelle Wallis, posted a photo on her Instagram account two weeks ago,” reports Brides. “In the post (which you can see below), Wallis is wearing a white Malene Oddershede Bach dress covered in pink flowers (which is adorable, btw), and on her ring finger, you can see what looks like a huge diamond engagement ring.”

While neither Chris Martin nor Annabelle Wallis confirmed the engagement, the rumor helped skyrocket breaking news about his divorce. Now that he is lawfully separated from his wife, Chris may feel freer to approach Annabelle Wallis about getting married.

There really seems to be no hard feelings between Chris and Gwyneth. Despite the fact that divorce is no easy feat, they have been able to sustain their civil and friendly attitude toward each other and their respective careers.

He even united his ex-wife and current girlfriend during his Glastonbury Festival Coldplay performance!

“The 31-year-old actress was at Glastonbury to show her support for the Coldplay frontman during the band’s headlining set,” reports People Magazine.

Gwyneth Paltrow was also there for Chris, along with daughter Apple, 12, and son Moses, 10. Together, they helped “their dad with some backup vocals during Coldplay’s tribute to British indie rock band Viola Beach,” the same article reported.

Maybe one of the reasons why he kept such a good relationship with his ex-wife was because of the fact that he was too emotionally affected by their decision to separate.

“I still wake up down a lot of days. But now I feel like I’ve been given the tools to turn it around,” he said to the Sunday Times last month. “You can come at it very aggressively and blame and blame. Or you can put yourself in the garage, so to speak. Take yourself apart and clean off the bits. Reassemble.”

It looks like he had two women to support him through the tough times – Gwyneth and Annabelle! Now, he can add Rita Ora to that list.

As he is partying it up with Rita Ora, Annabelle Wallis is busy shooting her next movie with Tom Cruise, The Mummy.

“They’re in the middle of filming some of The Mummy’s most dramatic scenes,” reports the Daily Mail. “So Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis made sure they were fit and ready for action as they warmed up together on the movie set in London, on Saturday. The pair looked extremely close as they showed off their impressive moves and cosied up for a chat in-between takes.”

To play the character, it looks like Annabelle Wallis took off her engagement ring to shoot the scenes.
