Ariana Grande Celebrates Another Milestone With ‘Into You’ On Instagram

Ariana Grande is celebrating as her music continues to soar to new heights, according to a multiple media reports.

Her latest hit — “Into You” — became her eighth song to have more than 100 million plays on Spotify, a fact Ariana took to Instagram to celebrate this weekend. For Grande, “Into You” follows the title track off her Dangerous Woman album to earn the distinction as “Dangerous Woman” hit that milestone early in May.

That number could continue to rise for Ariana as Headline Planet reported earlier this week that the song was the most-added track by radio programmers across the country. With more than 40 additional stations playing the track, Grande is expected to climb into the top 20 songs in pop radio today.

Dangerous Woman is the third studio album released by Ariana Grande, and has thus far been met with critical acclaim. The album has also been a strong financial success, too, as it debuted as the second-most purchased compilation on May 20 with more than 175,000 units sold that week.

While a steamy music video helped the track succeed early on, a recent make-over for the “Into You” video is garnering lots of attention — and laughs. Ariana Grande recently recorded a video with Jimmy Fallon for “Into You” that appeared on his late-night talk show, as the duet used only Snapchat filters for the video, according to Vanity Fair.

This isn’t the first time that he and Ariana Grande and have tinkered with music for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In an appearance last fall, Ariana easily bested Jimmy during a segment called Wheel of Musical Impressions. Grande belted out several tunes, mimicking iconic pop singers such as Britney Spears and Celine Dion during the popular late-night game show.

Songs from Dangerous Woman aren’t the only tracks that Ariana has recorded in recent months. In addition to dropping the hit single “Focus” last year, Grande also appeared on a track with ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes as the duo belted out “Over And Over Again,” the Inquisitr reported.

A tour for the pop singer has yet to be finalized, according to recent reports. Ariana Grande had told fans earlier this year she hoped to be touring by the end of the year, but rumors of troubles has sprung up for the “Into You” singer.

While a tour may be in jeopardy for Ariana Grande, another project on the horizon is not. Earlier this month, Ariana signed on to perform in NBC’s Hairspray Live! in December as Penny Pingleton, E! News reported. Grande confirmed the role through a tweet, adding the character “has been a dream role” for the actress since first seeing the performance nearly 14 years ago.

Despite her busy schedule, Ariana manages to sneak in a fun outing. Most recently, Grande and another former ex-boyfriend Graham Phillips held an impromptu reunion of two of the cast members from the Broadway musical 13, according to E! Online.

Ariana Grande and Graham Phillips — who is best known for his role Alicia Florrick’s son on The Good Wife — split more than four years ago, leaving plenty of time for the pair to overcome their differences and mend fences. That appears to be the case as an anonymous source suggested the due enjoyed each other’s company for the night out in Los Angeles earlier this week.

“They had a wonderful time. Both of them, and their guests, were an absolute delight and stayed late into the night. They treated everyone amazing!”
