Jordan Rodgers On ‘The Bachelorette’ For The Wrong Reasons? Aaron Rodgers Stays Silent On Their Feud In New Interview

Jordan Rodgers’ motivation for being on The Bachelorette has long been questioned.

His situation didn’t improve any when his brother, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, sat down for an interview with Bill Simmons on Any Given Wednesday.

According to Cartermatt, Bachelorette fans expected Aaron to talk about Jordan in the interview. After all, Jordan has discussed his rocky relationship with Aaron on the show, and it’s only natural that Simmons would ask Aaron about it.

That, unfortunately, did not happen. Instead, the two talked about a variety sports related subjects and stayed far from the world of reality television.

Aaron’s silence on the issue is somewhat surprising given how much attention Jordan has garnered in recent weeks. Is this a sign that their relationship is worse off than previously thought? Or is Aaron just unwillingly to talk about Jordan until the show is over?

Fans were certainly disappointed about Aaron’s interview. According to Hollywood Take, many of them took to social media to express their opinions.

“@BillSimmons should’ve asked @AaronRodgers12 about Olivia and JoJo you chicken!” one Twitter user wrote.

“Bill Simmons left ESPN because he felt muzzled,” another fan shared on Twitter. “Then doesn’t ask Aaron Rodgers about his relationship with his brother. Absolute sellout.”

It isn’t clear why Aaron and Simmons didn’t discuss his brother, though they likely agreed before hand to avoid the topic.

According to CBS, Jordan Rodgers really opened up about his relationship with Aaron during a recent chat with Fletcher.

The topic was brought up when Jordan and Fletcher discussed the upcoming hometown visits. During a candid moment, Jordan revealed that Aaron will not be home to meet Fletcher.

“Like I said, I have a great relationship with my brother Luke,” Jordan told Fletcher. “Me and Aaron really don’t have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life. I chose to stay close to my family, and my parents and my brother.”

Although Jordan doesn’t communicate with his brother, he admitted that he still loves him.

“It’s not ideal. And I love him, and I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has and the demands from people he has,” he shared. “Don’t have hard feelings against him, it’s just how things go right now.”

Jordan added that Aaron didn’t even know that he was cast for The Bachelorette and that he and Aaron don’t talk at all.

It is interesting that Jordan opened up about his brother on national television, especially considering how much his own motivations have been questioned.

However, Jordan felt the need to talk about his brother to clear the air about his connection to fame and intentions on the show.

“I think it’s just important to know where I’m at, where I stand,” he continued. “Like the other day, James said something about that word ‘entitlement’ and how I act. That just really kind of strikes a chord with me, that kind of word, because that’s not who I am.”

Fans have questioned Jordan’s intentions for being on The Bachelorette. Although he and Fletcher had an immediate connection, many suspected that he wants fame instead of love.

He might even be on the show in order to star in the next season of The Bachelor.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of The Bachelorette will feature Jordan and Fletcher talking about his brother once again. Only this time, Jordan admits that he “doesn’t like talking about his brother.”

To which Fletcher assures him, “It doesn’t need to be a topic.”

New episodes of The Bachelorette air Monday nights on ABC.
