Ramona Singer On Luann Dating Her Ex: ‘OMG This Is A Red Flag’

Ramona Singer was shocked when she learned that Luann de Lesseps was dating a man who she had been dating herself. Even though Ramona and Thomas D’Agostino hadn’t gone on too many dates and hadn’t cemented their relationship, they had been out enough times that Singer felt a little disregarded when Luann came on the scene. Even though Luann didn’t steal Thomas away from Ramona Singer, she did reveal that he was indeed on another date when he met Luann, and she simply swooped in and they started dating.

According to a new Bravo report, Ramona Singer is now revealing that she tried to warn Luann about her behavior and about how she just stepped on both Singer and Sonja Morgan. Both ladies had dated him in the past, and they felt she broke the “girl code” by not even talking to them about dating him. de Lesseps kept saying that she had no interest in knowing what happened before she started dating him, which means she doesn’t really care about her Real Housewives of New York co-stars’ feelings for him.

“I am not preaching, because obviously I have had my own share of experiences, and all experiences are different. But that being said, if my friend knew what my fiancé was doing at the time I was engaged and I was told that he had close relations with friends of mine just weeks prior to my engagement, I would say OMG, this is a red flag!” Singer pointed out in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York after trying to confront Luann during the episode about her outrageous behavior and planning a wedding so suddenly.

Thomas has shared his side of the story and he does admit to knowing Sonja for years, but that he had nothing serious going on with Sonja or Ramona Singer. Both ladies seem to have different stories, as Ramona claims they have gone on at least seven dates, and Morgan called Thomas her “friends with benefits” for several years. And Singer feels that her friend is in denial about what the other ladies had with him.

“These are facts, not lies and not exaggerations, and yes, I thought that I should be able to tell Luann. But she doesn’t have the capability to listen! She shut it down and turned it around. The fact that she completely took the conversation to mean that I was jealous? I mean, like really? Jealous? Not a word in my vocabulary! Really? What would I be jealous of?” Ramona Singer explains, saying that she’s had no problems finding a date after getting divorced.

“But Luann always seems so desperate for the attention, for the support, for the reassurance that a man is interested in her. So maybe that is why she chooses not to listen and learn about what Tom has been up to? She cut me off and cut me down to the point that truly I am not interested again in telling her like it is,” Ramona Singer reveals, sharing that she has no plans of warning her friend again if something comes up.

Of course, Singer already tried to warn the Countess before in regards to Thomas. When Luann first shared the news with Singer, she pointed out that she should be worried about him, as he was still contacting his ex-wife and giving her jewelry for Christmas. Rather than be skeptical and listen to her friend, de Lesseps was angry with Ramona for not being happy for her. In her own blog, Luann revealed that she is rushing it and that she does understand why the ladies would be concerned, but she encourages them to be happy for her instead, according to Bravo.
