Former ‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe Stirs Up Controversy Already As A New Dad, Photo Of Newborn Son Called Creepy

It sure didn’t take very long before former Bachelor, Sean Lowe, stirred up some controversy on his parenting skills. The new dad has just posted a photo of his newborn son, Samuel Thomas, on his Instagram account which was supposed to be funny and cute. However, some people are calling it creepy and weird instead.

Sean and his wife, Catherine Giudici Lowe, are brand new parents to their first child and have been keeping everyone updated with a few snapshots of the sweet little guy. So far in the first week of his life, they have posted pictures of themselves holding their son, but the most recent one on Instagram that was posted on Monday kind of creeped everyone out.

The 1-week-old baby is apparently supposed to be imitating The Bachelor and The Bachelorette host, Chris Harrison, or even one of the male contestants. He is dressed in an oversized black suit and tie. The only part of the infant that is visible is his tiny head. The hands that are sticking out of the suit jacket is most likely that of his daddy’s. Sean Lowe is holding a yellow rose in one of his hands with the other one over his chest.

With the baby lying down on a white sheet and with the black suit on, it makes it look like something completely different. He probably didn’t mean for it to look that way, but some of the comments coming from his fans who saw this were calling it scary and creepy.

“Very creepy and strange; cannot even like this! Way weird sorry; this is a time of birth and celebration, not a creepy funeral type picture of your newborn son???”

However, there were at least some people out of the 3,000 commenters who viewed the photo as funny and clever. You have to admit that it is quite different and interesting.

“Lmao why do people get so butt hurt. Let this goofy guy have fun with his baby how he pleases.”

The concept is really unique and is perfect for posting on Monday nights during The Bachelorette. Sean Lowe, as well as his wife, takes the time to post comments on the reality show every week and their comments can be humorous.

Sean and Catherine are a big part of the close-knit community of bachelors and bachelorettes. They met on The Bachelor, became engaged, and also had their dream wedding televised on ABC. Now they have started their family and are as happy and strong as ever.

Now that they have a child that they love posting pictures of on social media, they will have to bear the brunt of the public’s scrutiny just like other celebrities who do the same. There are always a few people out there who have no problem telling other parents how to raise their children. Sean Lowe may learn that really fast.

Actress Kristin Cavallari is the most recent celeb who has been accused of bad parenting. When she innocently posted a recent photo of her two boys playing on the beach with their shirts off, right away people were accusing her of starving her kids. One fellow mom who knows how it feels to be scrutinized came to her rescue. As reported by Us Weekly, model Chrissy Teigen spoke out on those nasty comments made by those on social media.

“I will never know why parents criticize others so harshly, knowing they’d go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME. NO parent out there thinks they’re perfect. I loathe these s–thead commenters. Who would want to make someone feel horrible for fun?”

Sean and Catherine are not alone as it seems that all parents, both regular ones and celebrities, go through the same thing. Parent shaming seems to be on the rise lately.

While Chris Harrison has yet to comment on the funny snapshot of the Lowe baby, he would probably think it was quite cute. Stay tuned for more sweet pictures of baby Samuel.

What do you think of how Sean Lowe posed his son for the photo? Is it cute or creepy?
