Taylor Swift: Still The Most Generous Celebrity For Four Years Going On Five
Taylor Swift may be jet-setting the globe with official boyfriend Tom Hiddleston, but she never forgets people who may need more of her attention. While in Australia, Swift found time to visit a children’s hospital on Tuesday.
As expected, the sick children at the hospital were very happy to meet Taylor Swift, according to People. The hospital staff reportedly said the following regarding the visit.
“Thank you, Taylor Swift, for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget. They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”
While the hospital staff posted their appreciation of the Taylor Swift visit on Facebook, the patients at the children’s hospital in Brisbane took turns sharing their photographs about the unforgettable meeting on Twitter. The pictures showed children’s faces glowing with happiness as Taylor spent precious time with them. The star was dressed in a light blue, long-sleeved, collared blouse and white shorts.

While in Australia, Taylor Swift plans to spend more time with Tom Hiddleston, who resumes shooting for the role of Loki in Thor: Ragnarok, the third film in The Avengers franchise. According to Mirror, production of the big-budget movie already commenced this month at The Village Roadshow Studios in Queensland. The source also said the following.
“Obviously, he [Tom Hiddleston] doesn’t want to be away from his new lady as they continue their whirlwind romance, so she’s joining him on set.”
Daily Mail says that Taylor Swift is the most charitable celebrity for four years in a row.
Last year alone, according to the same source, Swift donated $50,000 each to a leukemia patient, a baby diagnosed with cancer, and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Taylor Swift also gave $25,000 to provide more books to New York City classrooms.
This year, Rolling Stone reports that Swift has donated $250,000 to help cover legal fees for Kesha, who is embroiled in a court battle that keeps the singer from recording new music. With her record of giving, such generous gesture is not likely to be Taylor Swift’s last for the year.
“Swift doesn’t just give money, she gives advice, too,” says ABC News, which recounts how the star is quick to dish out words of advice on her Twitter account, especially when it’s badly needed. ABC News would cite the case of a boy who had no idea what type of tie to wear to his prom.
The source dwells on Taylor Swift’s generous heart by going into detail into her numerous acts of kindness.
“She gives the best gifts and wraps them too. In what was known as ‘Swiftmas,’ the singer bought, hand-wrapped and sent Christmas and Hanukkah presents to some of her mega-fans last year. Not just any gifts, though. Swift stalked each of the fans’ social media accounts to find out what they really wanted and included a personal note to each.”
As ABC News dissects Taylor’s charitable practices, it would also discover that her acts are not just limited to special occasions. The source says that her acts are spontaneous and may happen at any time of the year, depending on the situation. At the same time, the same source underscores how Taylor Swift would just show up at the door to help somebody in need.
