Are Kylie Jenner And Tyga Getting Engaged? Kanye West Reportedly Hopes So
Kylie Jenner and Tyga may be on the verge of an engagement just weeks into their rekindled romance.
According to a new report, Kylie Jenner’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, the husband of her sister, Kim Kardashian, is “pushing” her rapper boyfriend to propose — and soon.
“Kanye told Tyga he would be the biggest idiot in the world if he let [Kylie Jenner] slip away,” a source close to West told Hollywood Life on July 7. “He explained to Tyga that good women, successful, beautiful and talented women like Kylie are hard to come by. He insisted to Tyga that Kylie would give him the world and respect him so much more if he manned the fu** up and started talking about longevity with her.”
Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been linked since she was just 16-years-old, but they waited until she turned 18 in August of last year to go public with their romance.

Although Kylie Jenner has only been back with Tyga for a short time, West is ready for the couple to take the next step, and if Tyga fails to do so, or exposes Jenner to more relationship turmoil, he could be facing major consequences.
“Ye’ straight up told Tyga he would end his rap career and ban him from some of the most prestigious hip-hop circles if he puts [Kylie Jenner] through more drama,” the Hollywood Life source explained.
Following a brief split in November of last year, Kylie Jenner and Tyga parted ways in early May, and while they’ve been known for their on-off romance in the past, they seemed to confirm they were done for good when they both stepped out with new partners. However, after Kylie Jenner’s brief fling with PartyNextDoor and Tyga’s rendezvous with lingerie model Demi Rose, they ended up back together yet again, which didn’t come as good news to her older sisters.
“Kim [Kardashian] and Kourtney are against this relationship, but they know it’s useless to try and talk Kylie out of it,” a source explained to Hollywood Life at the end of last month. “[Kylie’s] already gotten very defensive about [Tyga]. She went from calling him a liar and a cheater to saying it was all a misunderstanding. She’s changed her tune completely, it’s like she’s under a spell.”
While Kylie Jenner’s family may have issues with her relationship troubles, she is reportedly unconcerned with what her family thinks — and may actually enjoy the fact that they are against their romance.
“No one can talk [Kylie Jenner] out of this thing with Tyga, she’s so caught up in him,” the source continued. “Now that her family is against them being together, she feels even closer to him, like they have this Romeo & Juliet type of romance going. It’s all super dramatic, but that’s Kylie for you — she loves the drama.”

During her hiatus from Tyga, Kylie Jenner and PartyNextDoor seemed to be enjoying their time together, and during a Memorial Day celebration at the Los Angeles home of Drake, they were seen getting close. Then, just weeks later, Kylie Jenner appeared to have completely abandoned the relationship in lieu of her reconciliation with on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tyga.
