Ciara, Russell Wilson Joke About Consummating Their Marriage In Adorable Snapchat Video

Ciara and Russell Wilson tied-the-knot on Wednesday, and wasted no time consummating their marriage, according to Ciara’s Snapchat video.

Since day one of their relationship, Ciara and Russell have been open about their desire to remain abstinent until marriage to honor the Seattle Seahawks quarterback’s Christian faith. They have both discussed their non-existent sex life on numerous occasions, and vowed to wait until they officially said “I do” before having sex.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ciara, who is the mother to two-year-old Future Zahir, last spoke about her decision to remain abstinent while attending the Veuve Clicquot Carnaval in Miami on Saturday, February 20.

“No, it’s not hard at all,” Ciara said at the time. “He’s an awesome guy and a very confident guy. Just like I feel like I’m a woman that knows what I want, he’s a man who knows what he wants.”

She added: “It’s just a fun new chapter in life for me … we talk about everything, and I think that’s what you should be able to do as people and partners in a relationship. So, that’s what makes it really beautiful.”

While Ciara said it wasn’t hard for her to refrain from sex, there were definitely moments of weakness where she wished she could have a physical relationship with her fiance.

“We’re hanging in there. I’m not gonna lie. I’m human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen — that I’ve ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I’m like, ‘Look the other way! Look the other way!'” Ciara told Cosmopolitan.“But he’s such an awesome guy and the cool thing is that every day, we’re growing with each other. We get to have really healthy conversations and focus on each other as people. That is very important to me and him. It’s very valuable. We’re just enjoying ourselves and going one day at a time and praying and staying positive. Being strong here!”

In a separate interview, Wilson spoke about abstaining from sex with the woman of his dreams.

“For me, I knew that God had brought me in her life to bless her and for her to bless me,” Wilson explained. “We’re not going to be perfect, by any means. But He’s anointed both of us and He’s calling for us to do something special.”

Russell proposed to Ciara with a gorgeous 16-carat ring during a romantic vacation in Seychelles in March, and on Wednesday, June 6, the couple tied-the-knot in England at the Peckforton Castle in front of their closest friends and family members. Ciara wore a custom-made Cavalli Couture gown, while Wilson was dressed in a custom Giorgio Armani tux. Following their nuptials, both celebrities took to Instagram to share the same post, which read: “We are The Wilsons!”

On Thursday, Ciara and Russell shared an adorable Snapchat video in which they joked about consummating their marriage.

“So, baby, you know what we’re doing tonight,” Ciara can be seen telling Wilson in the video, while in the background he can be heard saying, “And what we did last night, I want to do multiple times.” Viewers also get a nice glimpse of Ciara’s new wedding set.

While this is the first marriage for Ciara, who was engaged to Future until their split in August 2014, Wilson was previously married to Ashton Meem, from 2012 to 2014.
