‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Saves Adam, Sage’s Real Diary Found, And Kevin Searches For Victor’s Mystery Helper [Spoilers]

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease, next week there could be a major power shift at Newman Enterprises. Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) may have to make a sacrifice to stay out of jail. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes a deal to save Adam from a life-long sentence in prison. Sage Newman’s (Kelly Sulivan) real diary resurfaces after Adam agrees to work with Newman Enterprises. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) desperately searches for Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) secret mystery helper.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint Chelsea and Adam have had so many challenges thrown their way that they are the point when they know they have to do whatever it takes to stay together. Life with Adam is not an easy one, and Chelsea has seen some hardships as she has stood by her man no matter which cards were stacked against them.

CBS Soaps In Depth reports that Chelsea will pull out all the stops to save Adam from a life in jail, and she sets out to prove that her husband is innocent of the murder charges stacked against him. According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Chelsea and Adam both believe that his dad, Victor Newman, set him up, and “doctored” a diary to look as if Sage thought that Adam killed Constance Bingham (Sally Kellerman).

Right now, it isn’t known how it comes out, but we do know that Sage’s real diary resurfaces. In her real diary, she wrote about Christian’s “death,” her connection to Adam, and her whirlwind romance with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). There was nothing in the diary about Constance or her death. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that even though Sage’s real journey is found, Adam remains convinced his father was behind the fake journal and wants to see him pay for it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers get complicated when Chelsea decides to beg Kevin to help her find Victor’s secret partner. She is convinced that her identity is the key to Adam’s freedom. It proves to be a difficult task when she tries to convince him to help Adam clear his name. It’s understandable why Kevin may be hesitant to help Adam in any way. He holds him personally responsible for his step-daughter, Delia’s death three years ago.

It took some convincing, but Kevin finally agreed to look into the identity of Victor’s “helper.” The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Chelsea doesn’t trust Kevin right off the bat and hovers over him while he works. She isn’t convinced that he would give her any information to may lead to clearing her husband’s name.

Soap Opera Digest reports that Adam is a little shocked that his father didn’t give any information that would implicate him in Constance’s “murder” during Adam’s trial. He wonders why Victor didn’t “prove” that he killed Gabriel Bingham’s (Justin Hartley) elderly grandmother. Of course, Victor uses the fact he didn’t implicate him as a bargaining chip.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor wasted no time and begged Adam to take over Newman Enterprises. The difference this time, Chelsea urges him to consider working at his family’s company. In her mind, if it is a way to keep her husband out of jail, why not? Adam isn’t so sure about taking the plunge. In his mind, it’s a lose-lose situation. Either go to jail or become his dad’s puppet, and neither option is an attractive one. Adam’s choice may shock Genoa City and rock the foundation of his marriage.
