Jessica Simpson’s First Weight Watchers Ad Hides Her Body [Video]

Jessica Simpson is proud of her post-baby body now that she’s lost 40 pounds but she wasn’t feeling nearly as comfortable when she filmed her first Weight Watchers ad.

Business Insider reports that Simpson, who reportedly signed a $4 million contract to become the face of Weight Watchers, hit 170 pounds during her recent pregnancy. In the ad, which was filmed in July, Simpson is filmed from the neck up as she talks about all of the pressure that was on her to lose her baby weight.

Simpson said:

“There is a lot of pressure to lose weight but I’m not a supermodel. I’m just Jessica trying to eat real food in the real world and I really just wanna be healthy for my daughter.”

Simpson is on her way to shedding the weight she gained during pregnancy. Yesterday Simpson appeared on Katie Couric’s show yesterday to reveal her new body.

Simpson said:

“I’m very nervous! I just had a lot of pressure on me to lose the baby weight. Today was one of my goals: getting here, feeling comfortable. I feel beautiful today!… I put on more baby weight than I was planning on putting on. I really have to separate myself from the world’s expectations and really just look inside myself and be healthy with myself.”

Of course, being healthy isn’t the only thing on Jessica’s mind. Fox News reports that Simpson won’t see $3 million from her endorsement until she reaches her target weight.
