Christie Brinkley: Former Supermodel Hoses Down Woman On Beach

The call of nature to a 36-year-old woman turned into a surprising hose down by Christie Brinkley recently, when Erica Remkus decided to squat down and urinate in the rocks and sand at Sag Harbor Cove. At around 10 p.m. on July 2, Remkus, a Long Island hairdresser, went to relieve herself when Christie Brinkley appeared and was outraged at the sight.

Remkus relayed the words of Brinkley after catching sight of her to Page Six.

“‘What are you doing?! You can’t pee in front of my house! You have to go away. You’re standing on my rocks. You can’t pee on my rocks. I walk there!'” she said Christie, 62, screamed at her.

Initially, Erica did not recognize the former supermodel and replied by stating that the beach is public property. Page Six shares the woman’s words.

“These are not your rocks,” she told the Post she shouted back. This is not your beach… You don’t own it.”

This was apparently when things got a little dampened. Christie Brinkley reportedly turned on the hose and doused Erica from approximately 30 feet away.

Remkus later took to Facebook to recount the events following the blast from Brinkley. The Mail relays Erica’s words via the social media platform.

“I threw my glow stick necklaces at her….. And then I peed. I would not have peed if she didn’t spray me. After that, I kind of had to. I’m sorry but I had 3 kids and have zero bladder control.”

Brinkley reportedly called the cops following hosing Erica down. Christie’s words were not cited by police following the incident. However, the Post does share that Christie used her cellphone to record Erica urinating on the beach. Police later stated that they don’t usually press charges unless the individual is witnessed by them and caught in the act by an officer.

Although Brinkley’s words were not cited, she later took to Instagram where she posted a lengthy anecdote about the event.

“I know it’s Independence Day but that does not mean ‘free to pee’ in front of my guests and me at my fireworks gathering. Maybe the trespasser should celebrate ‘Depends Day’ as she apparently thinks she lives in ‘The Land of the Pee,’ as I was forced to hose down her mess after she urinated in my yard all the while throwing things at me. My wish for everyone on this Fourth of July is…May you live in the Land of the Free from belligerent drunken stalkers with weak bladders and foul mouths. (that’s not too much to ask right?) Peace! Note to self, don’t “pi** off” Christie Brinkley. The star did not comment on the event when contacted by Page Six. It’s clear she shared all of her thoughts on the matter through her Instagram account. The stunning former model has a number of properties in the Hamptons. That particular property is a Greek Revival waterfront property and was listed at $15.75 million back in 2010, as Wonderwall shares.

Christie Brinkley first came on the scene back in the late 70’s when she took the cover of Sports Illustrated three times up until 1981. The beauty was discovered in 1973 and had a successful career in the industry for decades. Brinkley also tried her hand at acting and her first onscreen role was in National Lampoon’s Vacation in 1983. Since then Christie has starred in a number of films and taken on the entrepreneurial role by beginning her own skincare and hair care brands.
