Rihanna and Drake may be partying it up in London amid reports suggesting that the “Work” collaborators have officially rekindled their former romance after years of dating speculation, but is the newly recoupled duo also busy working on a new collaboration?
On Friday, sources close to Rihanna and Drake revealed to E! News that the “Too Good” collaborators have officially begun dating once again following months of romance speculation with one source close to the “One Dance” rapper claiming that it was Drake and Rihanna’s musical collaborations that reignited the duo’s romantic interest.
“Their music together got them close again,” the source explained to the news site. “[Drake] still loves [Rihanna] and never stopped.”
In addition, the source further explains that while both Rihanna and Drake have remained tight-lipped regarding rumors of their alleged romance since igniting dating claims with their steamy “Work” collaboration in February, it was Rihanna who shied away from making their relationship status official.
“Rihanna is the one that’s been not wanting to settle down in the past,” the source revealed of the duo’s on-again, off-again romance. “They are having fun spending time with each other.”
While neither Rihanna nor Drake has confirmed the recent dating reports, the duo is now rumored to be working on a new collaboration after they were spotted hitting up the same recording studio while in London earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Drake and Rihanna were spotted arriving within minutes of each other at Tape nightclub in order to help Nicole Scherzinger ring in her 38th birthday at the London hotspot, E! News reports.

Later that evening, Zues Sherlock, co-founder and partner of Tape London, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself hanging out with Drake at the venue’s basement studio with a caption that seemingly hints that new music may be on the way from the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
Days later, Sherlock further fueled rumors of an impending Drake and Rihanna collaboration when he took to the photo-sharing site to post a picture of Rihanna hanging with Tape’s studio engineer, Chani, before tagging Drake and Pharrell in the caption of the duo’s photo.

While it’s unclear whether or not Drake and Rihanna have plans to collaborate on yet another track following the success of their chart-topping hits, “Work” and “Too Good,” Rihanna previously entertained the possibility of going on tour with the Canadian rapper during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres for The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in February.
Following the release of the duo’s “Work” collaboration, Rihanna sat down with DeGeneres to discuss the nature of her rumored romance with Drake in addition to hinting at her desire to tour with the “Pop Style” rapper, who has made several surprise appearances during various stops on Rihanna’s “Anti World Tour” so far this year.
Speaking on her relationship status at the time, Rihanna revealed to Ellen that she’s “single right now” and “can’t even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious” due to her tour schedule and various film, fashion, and music projects, Billboard reports.
However, when Ellen pressed Rihanna about the ongoing dating rumors between herself and Drake, Rihanna explained, “[Drake’s] not touring with me, maybe next time. I would love to go on tour with Drake, actually. That has to happen.”
Currently, Rihanna is busy touring Europe for the second leg of her “Anti World Tour” while Drake is gearing up for the kick-off of his “Summer Sixteen Tour” alongside rapper Future on July 20 in Austin, Texas.
