‘General Hospital’ Murder Mystery: One Surprising Death Has Everyone On Edge [Spoilers]

A surprising death happened on General Hospital that has everyone a bit surprised and just a little unnerved. There has been a murderer on the loose who is killing patients with a deadly syringe. While viewers might have thought that they had it all figured out on who was doing the deadly deed, it now looks like the main suspect has just been killed by the serial killer.

This General Hospital mystery has just taken a different twist as Dr. Mayes is now the latest victim. He was found unresponsive on the floor of a patient’s room on Friday’s episode. Elizabeth Webber was the one who found him as she walked in to check on the patient and now everyone seems to be a suspect. ABC has posted a preview clip for next week that shows the hospital staff waiting in line to be grilled by Nathan West of the PCPD.

The one person who is probably going to be let off the hook and out of jail will be Dr. Finn. He was suspended from the General Hospital staff as he refused to take a drug test and was not very cooperative when it came to answering any lingering questions about his suspicious activities. He is in jail because he treated Sabrina’s baby, Teddy, in an unauthorized capacity, but that may have been a good thing because this proves that he is definitely not the one going around murdering people.

The next one that is high on the list of suspects is Franco. When Elizabeth was doing CPR on Dr. Mayes, he was seen standing in the doorway looking at the scene. With his violent history and his access to patients, fingers will now be pointing at him.

Everyone might have thought that Dr. Mayes was the mercy killer as he had said to Liz how much he hated to see older people suffer through horrendous treatments. However, that certainly wouldn’t explain why someone would try to do away with Bobbie Spencer after she collapsed a few weeks ago. Is there a connection or is there someone who is just randomly stabbing people with the deadly syringe?

In the General Hospital preview, Liz is being questioned by Nathan and she happened to mention that she was alone until Franco showed up. Meanwhile, he is seen waiting with Liesl Obrecht as she was busy pacing in the hallway. She isn’t very happy that her theory of Dr. Finn being the killer has just flown out the window. Now she and Franco are part of the investigation.

Elizabeth may be going to bat for Franco. According to upcoming spoilers from TV Source Magazine, she thinks that Franco is innocent. This may just bring those two closer than ever.

Obrecht offers to be Franco’s alibi and vice versa. Those two are hilarious together. They have both been in trouble with the law, but they have supposedly straightened up these days. Could one of them really be the General Hospital killer?

Now that Dr. Finn is in the clear, Liesl may be setting her sights on Griffin Munro. She told him that he could very well be the angel of mercy at the hospital. The doc does say in the preview that he may know exactly what the motive is. Does he really know something?

It is extremely doubtful that Griffin has been going around murdering patients. After all, he is a priest as well as a doctor. Who else could the killer be? Most people think that it is a doctor or a nurse at General Hospital. However, it could very well be someone sneaking in and doing this.

How about Heather Webber? Franco has just come from visiting his mom and everyone knows that Heather is a great escape artist. Could she be the surprising suspect as well?

General Hospital is keeping everyone in suspense. Just when you thought that it was Dr. Mayes who was the mercy killer, he ends up dead by the real killer.

Who do you think has been going around injecting people with a deadly syringe? General Hospital will pick up new episodes on Tuesday, July 5, because of the holiday. Stay tuned to find out what develops.
