Amber Rose Fires Back At Kanye West For ‘Famous’ Video, Here’s Her Bombshell Response

Amber Rose is finally speaking out about Kanye West’s controversial “Famous” video. Like many other celebrities who were featured in the nude video, she has a colorful opinion of it all, according to E! News. Although some celebrities featured such as Chris Brown were able to find humor in the jaw-dropping video, Amber Rose and Taylor Swift weren’t too thrilled.

For those who haven’t heard the song or seen the “Famous” video, he has been widely criticized for the song’s misogynistic lyrics and the references he made to both Taylor and Amber Rose. Based on the lyrics of the song, many news outlets and news critics assume his lyrics are an insinuation of his impact on the careers of women who have crossed paths with him over the years.

In the song, Kanye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor[Swift] might still have sex. Why? I made that b***h famous.” At another point in the song, Kanye spit another phrase that led many to believe he was definitely talking about Amber Rose. A previous report published by Hollywood Life offered a breakdown of the lyrics and how one particular part of the song was, indeed, directed toward Amber Rose.

Kanye raps, “”Now if I f***this model and she just bleached her a**hole. And I get bleach on my T-shirt. Imma feel like an a**hole. I was high when I met her. We was down in Tribeca. She got under your skin if you let her. She get under your skin if you-uh.”

So, of course, many fans have wondered how a famously blonde Amber Rose would respond, and now she’s finally giving her opinion of his song and the R-Rated “Famous” video, among other things. Although he insists the video had more of a complex meaning that was actually a form of a compliment to the celebrities featured in it, it appears Amber Rose believes the song has the same bashing meaning many others believe it has. But the “Famous” video isn’t all she discussed.

According to The Daily Beast, Amber Rose has a response to all of the seemingly offensive remarks that have been made about her over the years. From GQ magazine referring to her as “Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend” and “Wiz Khalifa’s baby mama,” to Kanye, himself, rapping subliminal lyrics about her, she’s made it quite clear she’s sick of it. Amber also explained how she wasn’t exactly “famous” while with the Yeezus rapper and lived a relatively personal life. Amber Rose also claims she didn’t make it to what she considers “celebrity status” until approximately two years after she and Kanye broke up.

“The misconception—and I still hear this seven years later, to this day—is, ‘You’re only famous for Kanye.’ Initially, absolutely. In 2009, when they’re like, ‘Amber Rose—Kanye’s girlfriend,’ I was like, ‘OK, that’s pretty accurate. That’s what it is,'” Amber Rose said. “But I didn’t ask to be famous, and I didn’t even talk or do interviews for two years, because I thought, ‘I don’t want this. I’m not famous.'”

However, this isn’t the first time Amber Rose has reacted to being seen as an opportunist who used celebrity connections for personal advancement. In her new book, appropriately titled How to Be a Bad B***h, she discussed the topic. Quite similar to the “Famous” video controversy, Amber Rose has faced criticism from many others who also believe she didn’t actually work to get to where she is.

“People refer to me as a ‘s**t’ because they assume, but they don’t know s**t,” she says, flashing her perfect white teeth. “People are like, ‘Amber, you’re a fu**in’ ho,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait… didn’t you just suck a random d**k last week? Oh, but we’re not talking about that, are we? And you won’t bring that up because you think you’re superior? Please.”

The latest news about Amber Rose and Kanye West follows their highly publicized Twitter feud months ago. When he began beefing with Wiz Khalifa on Twitter, he made a statement about their son and Amber Rose’s response sparked a media firestorm. Amber made it quite clear that she backs down from no one and stands her own ground.
