Brandi Glanville Talks LeAnn Rimes Relationship, Eddie Cibrian Kids

Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are finally on good terms.

During an interview on SiriusXM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos, the Famously Single cast member spoke of her “modern family,” claiming she and Rimes have put their differences aside for the sake of her two children with her former husband and Rimes’ current husband, Eddie Cibrian.

“We have to be a unit, three of us,” Brandi Glanville explained to Menounos, according to a report by People Magazine on June 28.

After going through “moments of not putting the kids first and not being proper adults,” Brandi Glanville realized she was acting like a child and turned over a new leaf for her boys, Mason, 13, and Jake, 9.

“As the kids are getting older – something did happen with one of them, and I don’t really want to go into it, but it made the three of us, Eddie, LeAnn and myself, realize we have to be together on this,” Brandi Glanville revealed. “We have to stick together in order to keep these little boys in line and to keep them from not manipulating us against each other, and we need to be together for them.”

Brandi Glanville’s tensions with Rimes and Cibrian began in 2009 when it was revealed that the pair had engaged in an affair while filming Northern Lights for the Lifetime Network, and in the years that followed, Glanville and Rimes were involved in many Twitter feuds, as well as feuds in the press. However, for the last several months, the women have been playing nice.

Although Brandi Glanville doesn’t spend her holidays with Rimes and Cibrian “yet,” they do celebrate the children’s birthdays as a family and are no longer at war over Rimes’ relationship with the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s ex-husband.

“I think that LeAnn finally realizes that I don’t want your man,” she said. “That’s all done, but we can all still get along and be friends, and so we are.”

In April, Brandi Glanville spoke to The Daily Dish about her relationship with Rimes and said that her former in-laws were also a driving force in her decision to make amends with the country star.

“At the end of the day, his parents are still my in-laws. I love them madly,” Brandi Glanville told the outlet. “They will always be my in-laws. My parents were just here and wanted to see them and it was kind of awkward because I’m like, ‘I don’t know how I want to approach that because they used to be best friends.'”

Prior to Cibrian’s affair with Rimes, which was followed by the couple’s 2011 wedding, Cibrian was married for nearly 10 years to Glanville and they lived in Los Angeles as a family as he tended to his acting career.

“The kids are really happy because they realize that my parents are good friends with [Eddie’s parents]. It’s all about the kids and we’re all figuring it out as we go. But I think we’re coming to a better place,” Brandi Glanville added.

While Brandi Glanville hasn’t yet remarried, she has dated a number of men and is currently starring on Famously Single, where she and other celebrities attempt to get to the bottom of their romance struggles.
