Adrienne Maloof Divorce Turns Nasty: ‘Real Housewife’ Says Husband Is Violent, Has A Gun
The divorce between Real HousewifeAdrienne Maloof and her husband Dr. Paul Nassif is starting to get nasty. She submitted a declaration in family court claiming that Nassif is a danger to their children, that he has a violent temper, and that he carries a gun.
TMZ reports that Maloof is hitting her estranged husband where it hurts (and generally that means the kids) by claiming that the good doctor “lacks sound judgment,” “has a violent temper,” and that he carries a gun. What’s more, that gun is often placed somewhere where the couple’s three boys can easily reach it. Furthering her argument that Nassif is a danger to their kids, Maloof related an incident that took place last month during which she claims Nassif was drinking while operating a Kayak, and that one of their kids on the boat with him fell into the water.
Besides neglect, Maloof also alleges violence on the part of Nassif. She claims that he has thrown the kids around in fits of rage, spanked them sans-pants, and yanked them around by the arm. She also says that Nassif has been violent toward her, pushing her around, pulling her hair, and yelling at her.
All Maloof really seems interested in is custody of the couple’s children.
“She thinks Paul will try and go after her money but their prenup is ironclad. She said Paul will not get any of the Maloof family fortune. She isn’t afraid to battle it out in court with Paul for her family and kids. They are the most important thing to her and she’s not going to give up or give in to him,” a source told RadarOnline. “She says she is the parent who is with the kids the most, and she will do everything she can to keep them. She believes this is what is best for them.”
Meanwhile, a source close to Nassif alleged previously that there would likely not be a contentious divorce battle, and that the split was mostly amicable:
“Dr. Nassif’s sole focus is making sure both Adrienne and the kids are as happy as possible in this very difficult time. His goal is to ensure the best interest of the children. He is going to stay focused on them and his patients.”
