WWE News: NXT Hints At 3 Wrestlers Leaving For WWE Draft [Spoilers]

The WWE taped the next three episodes of their NXT Wrestling show on Friday night, and it looks like the results signify who will be leaving when the WWE holds their draft next month. 411mania reported that American Alpha lost in their tag team title rematch with The Revival and that former NXT champion Finn Balor lost to Shinsuke Nakamura in what looks to be a passing of the torch moment.

Last month, when American Alpha lost their tag team titles to The Revival, the word came down that Vince McMahon called that title change. While Triple H books the action in NXT, McMahon still has final call and Wrestling Rumors reported that McMahon wanted American Alpha to lose the titles so that he could call them up to the main roster as soon as the WWE Draft in July.

There is a lot of praise for American Alpha, which is seen as a hybrid between The World’s Greatest Tag Team and The Steiner Brothers, and has a huge future on the main roster. The Inquisitr previously reported that Kurt Angle announced that he was going to make his return to the WWE and said he would love to manage American Alpha. However, that public comment about returning might have worked against Angle because WWE has sent out word that Angle is not coming back.

Of course, that could be smoke and mirrors. Kurt Angle could be the perfect manager for American Alpha when they make their move from NXT up to the WWE main roster, which is likely to happen at the WWE Draft. On the final TV tapings, American Alpha wrestled twice, losing to The Revival in a 2-out-of-3-falls tag team title match and then American Alpha lost to Paul Ellering’s new tag team, The Authors of Pain.

After American Alpha is Finn Balor, the former NXT World Champion. Balor beat Samoa Joe over and over, but then finally lost his title at a house show. They got the big rematch in the very first WWE NXT steel cage match at NXT Takeover: The End. Samoa Joe won that match and their feud ended. Up next for Finn Balor was a challenge from the next big thing in NXT, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Many people assumed that Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor would battle at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on SummerSlam weekend. The Inquisitr even reported that Triple H teased this match in a Twitter photo he posted that showed Nakamura and Balor in the ring with a comment about there being no sleep till NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

However, it now looks like the match was just part of the road to NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. The long-awaited Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match will take place on a regular NXT show and was taped last night. Shinsuke won the NXT match and it now looks like he will move into position to challenge Samoa Joe in Brooklyn in August. After the match, Balor and Shinsuke celebrated and Balor seemed like he was saying goodbye to the fans.

Most people expect Finn Balor to show up either at the WWE Draft or before that when he prepares to get involved in the storyline with AJ Styles and The Club. Fans who don’t know, AJ Styles signed with New Japan when Finn was leaving for WWE and NXT Wrestling. As a result, Styles took over as the leader of The Bullet Club.

With Finn joining the WWE main roster, it looks like he might be involved with his old running mates once again, on one side or the other. American Alpha should be catapulted into the WWE tag team title scene, despite a short NXT tag title reign
