Serena Williams Flaunts Net Worth On ‘Lemonade’ With Beyoncé

Serena Williams is loving life and she wants the world to know it. Not only is she having a bomb social life, dancing with Beyoncé in Lemonade, hanging out with Neymar and going steady with her boyfriend Alexis Ohanian, but also she is enjoying the fact that she now has the highest net worth amongst the female athletes.

With the fall of Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams now is the highest earning female athlete in the world. Not only that, she is just a title away from breaking Steffi Graf’s open era record. To top it all off, she has been featured in the “Sorry” music video that Beyoncé just released, separate from her hour-long concept movie, Lemonade.

But it sounds like even the best athlete in the world had a hard time keeping up with Queen Bey.

“I’ve known Bey for a long time,” Serena said to Wall Street Journal, adding, “I got really sore from dancing!

That is definitely one way to proclaim that she has the highest net worth as a female athlete now.

Starring in Lemonade with Beyoncé definitely sounds like something that was up the world number one’s alley.

“[E]veryone in tennis knows that Serena Williams is a karaoke warrior (‘That’s her thing,’ says Wozniacki), but she also continues to be fascinated with dance,” reports the Wall Street Journal. Each year, she and Venus host a competition called the Williams Invitational in which teams compete in, among other events, dance routines.

Memories

At least her annual competition has paid off in the form of Lemonade.

Serena continues to put in a lot of work into the things she loves, which include not just the game, but also her fashion label. Without her effort, she would not have the net worth that she has, nor the world No. 1 ranking. She is still working hard to become one of the best tennis players in history.

Next week, Wimbledon 2016 starts, along with her bid to grab that elusive 22nd Grand Slam title to surpass Steffi Graf. But before things get too serious, she is continuing to blow off some steam doing the things she loves — karaoke!

“[T]ennis ace Serena Williams decided to hit the red carpet, turning up and turning out at Delta Airlines’ Baseline Sessions karaoke party at the W Leicester Square hotel in London,” reports the Daily Mail. “Keen to show off her abs of steel, the 34-year-old beauty slipped into a super-short white tank top with spaghetti straps that stopped well north of her pierced belly button.”

In that event, fashion powerhouses like Vera Wang also made an appearance to wish Serena good luck.

The last time the tennis champ tried to grab the 22nd title was in French Open 2016, when she lost to the rising star Garbine Muguruza in the final.

“Many players dream of winning grand slam titles but in an era dominated by Serena Williams few women have had a look in,” reports the Guardian. “Garbiñe Muguruza’s stunning 7-5, 6-4 victory against the American in the French Open final on Saturday not only gave the women’s game a new champion but someone who at 22 may just be the heir apparent to Williams’s throne.”

As one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world, Wimbledon would be the perfect place for Serena to have her historical moment.

Maybe this time, her boyfriend Alexis Ohanian will come see her play. And possibly Beyonce too!

“They’ve been keeping their romance under wraps, but Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian are going strong,” reports Page Six. “We’re told the private tennis star took her techie beau along to a Web video shoot in Florida over the weekend.”
