LeeAnne Locken On Her Genuine Moment With Cary Deuber: ‘I Don’t Want To Hurt Anybody’

LeeAnne Locken clearly has an anger problem. Throughout this season of The Real Housewives of Dallas, Locken has done her best to keep her calm in certain situations, but she exploded after learning that Marie Reyes had texted Tiffany Hendra behind her back. In addition, she felt completely betrayed after she learned that a very embarrassing story about her had surfaced. And yet, Cary Deuber had nothing to do with the text messages or this story being leaked. Throughout the season, LeeAnne had a serious problem with Cary, as she kept spreading rumors about Cary’s marriage and Deuber had no idea why Locken was being so aggressive.

According to a new Bravo report, LeeAnne Locken is now revealing that she’s doing well and that she’s happy that she and Cary had a moment during the reunion, where they could hug it out. Throughout the reunion, Locken talked about Cary’s marriage, sharing some of the rumors about Deuber’s marriage. Locken revealed that she had heard rumors that Deuber and her husband Mark had cheated on their respective spouses before getting together. Deuber has maintained that they never cheated on their spouses, although they were both married before getting together.

“I think that when Cary walked off set she was being more dramatic than I have EVER seen Cary be. I’ve never seen Cary be that dramatic in my whole time of knowing her. I was really kind of confused by all her drama. It was a little big for the situation, I thought; however, in the end, when she told me that it had hurt her, then YES I felt compassion. I don’t ever want to see someone in pain,” LeeAnne Locken reveals in her Bravo blog, sharing that she had no intention of hurting her co-star.

And maybe LeeAnne felt bad during the reunion special, where she was talking about the marital rumors she had heard. Mark Deuber, who had never really faced LeeAnne before about this, said that it was hurtful for Locken to share these rumors given they were just that — rumors. And maybe Locken realized how much she was hurting people, because she tried to find a genuine moment with her co-star, where she could apologize.

“I could tell when Cary was suddenly being completely genuine. It happened without me expecting it and it caught me off guard. THE MOMENT she finally let her real self out was the moment I responded, because I could read it. Even when Cary was crying, her walls were still up. The moment they came down, is when I reached out and we met eye to eye. Then I asked her if I could hug her. I connected with her at that moment – it was almost magnetic. The second I connected with her, I was able to have empathy and genuinely want to hug her and say I’m sorry. Because I DON’T want to hurt anybody,” LeeAnne Locken explains in her blog.

It is interesting that LeeAnne felt that she had found a genuine moment during the reunion special, because her behavior didn’t really change. She did go from slamming her co-star’s marriage to just hugging her. And Stephanie Hollman did call her out for being fake, as the apology did come with some harsh comments. It will be interesting to see how Locken will get along with her co-stars should Bravo order a second season of The Real Housewives of Dallas.

What do you think of LeeAnne Locken’s apology? Do you think it was a genuine moment, or do you think it seemed fake and practiced, as she reached out to Cary Deuber for an apology?
