Aerosmith front man, Steven Tyler fell off the stage while performing live at the historic Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Wednesday night. He was airlifted to an area hospital with injuries to his face, neck and shoulder.
After technical problems with the sound system at the event, Steven Tyler, an avid motorcycle fan, tried to get the crowd back into the spirit of things by dancing wildly around the stage while he and his band Aerosmith performed their classic ‘Love in an elevator’. He was on an extension of the stage called the catwalk when he fell backwards into the crowd.
Reports from local media nad fans say that Tyler’s injuries were not serious and that the hospital trip was precautionary, but at 61, Tyler isn’t as young as he used to be.
