Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Fall During Concerts, Come Back With Jokes

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez maintained an on-again, off-again romantic relationship for years. And now, even though they are in the “off-again” phase of their romance, the two seem to be synchronized — at least when it comes to enduring an epic fall during a concert.

Bieber took a tumble during one of his concerts first. The stumble appeared to have occurred when he was attempting to adjust his pants, according to Billboard.

Performing in Saskatoon, Canada, Justin was striding along and seemed not to realize that a walkway ended. That meant going from a solid stage into empty air, resulting in the thudding fall.

“Great show tonight. #PurposeTour,” tweeted Justin.

However, he did joke about the scary moment, pointed out E News.

“Good thing I’m like a cat and landed on my feet,” declared Bieber. “That scared the f–k outta me.”

The “Sorry” singer, 22, actually fell into an onstage hole designed for dancers (including the Biebs) to utilize to rise up during a performance.

“Whoops… How did you not see the giant hole in the floor @justinbieber,” questioned the caption for a picture documenting the incident on Instagram.

Twitter overflowed with snarky comments and video capturing the moment that Bieber took a tumble.

Some seemed fascinated by the thud, with many proclaiming that they could not stop watching the video of Justin.

“We can’t stop watching it,” admitted one such Twitter user.

Amid all the jokes and memes, however, Bieber finally took time to turn to Twitter to mock his trip and fall moment.

“I’m a cat. I got 9 lives. Lol,” tweeted Justin.

And then, just days after Justin famously fell from that stage in Canada, Selena had her own stumble, reported ET.

Gomez had her accident while she was on the Tulsa, Oklahoma, phase of her Revival World Tour. Perfectly timed to occur during her famous song, “Kill Em With Kindness,” the stumble began with a slip that she couldn’t control.

But almost as soon as Selena had fallen, she was bouncing back to joke about her mishap.

Social media quickly responded with videos of Selena taking a tumble. Some even admired the 23-year-old singer’s grace in stumbling.

“Selena Gomez is the only person who can fall in front of thousands of people & still be cute,” praised ‏one fan.

Among those observing her fall was her godson, Aiden.

“My godson watching his tia on stage. @jaycosme — Happy Father’s Day,” wrote Gomez for the caption.

In addition to Twitter fans lauding Selena for reacting like a professional, Instagram served up admiration for Gomez’s grace in stumbling.

“Aww she laughed it off… ‘First fall on the whole damn tour. Can you believe it?'” #RevivalTourTulsa,” noted one commentator.

“I loved how she just laughed it off!” gushed another.

Selena did take a moment to recover by sitting on the stage after her fall, according to the New York Daily News.

While Bieber’s stumble was blamed on an attempt to adjust his pants, causing him to overlook the end of that walkway and hole on the stage, Gomez took a tumble when she tried to walk down a flight of steps.

As she sat on the ground, recognizing what she had done, Selena couldn’t help giggling into her microphone. Her backup dancers kept right on prancing as the singer perched.

Gomez then made her joke about the incident marking a milestone as her first fall on her Revival Tour before she got back to her feet.

In addition to her recent stumble, Selena hit the ground in 2013 during a performance in Fairfax, Va. On that occasion, Gomez also showed off her professional spirit, returning to her feet, giving a high-five greeting to some fans, and continuing her performance.
