Cody Horn: Kevin Love’s Girlfriend, The Daughter Of Hollywood Royalty, Is A Star On The Rise In Her Industry
Cody Horn is known mostly to fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers as Kevin Love’s attractive girlfriend, but the model and actress is actually the daughter of Hollywood royalty herself and a growing star in the industry.
Horn has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry mostly through her modeling work, but she also has an acting resume that includes a major role in Magic Mike and a handful of other projects including the movie End of Watch and the television series Rescue Me.
Cody Horn had something of an easy path into Hollywood. Her father, Alan Horn, served as the president and COO of Warner Bros. before moving on to Disney. There were some whispers that Cody’s connections landed her the role in the Warner Bros.-produced Magic Mike, and Cody seemed to imply to the Huffington Post that she won the part without really auditioning.
“It is a pretty crazy story. They weren’t going to see me because they thought I was too young, but my agent, Jason, fought for me to go in. Carmen Cuba, the casting director, agreed to meet with me, and we taped the interview. She asked me questions about my life, my dating history, things like that. We talked like girlfriends would; it was more friendly than a formal interview. I then got a call that I was to go in and audition for them, which I did. After we finished the scenes, Carmen excused the guy I was reading with and said, ‘this will never happen to you again for the rest of your career, but you booked the role before you came in.’ I’m not sure what Steven and the producers saw in me, but I’m glad they saw something they liked!”
But Warner Bros. didn’t actually purchase rights to the movie until it was already cast, blowing a hole in the theory that her place in Hollywood was pre-ordained.
Despite the allegations of nepotism, Cody Horn appears to be on the rise within the entertainment industry even without the help of her dad. She is starring in the upcoming movie A Change of Heart, produced by the independent Surprise Films, and has landed a number of modeling gigs.

Despite her growing place in the entertainment industry, Cody Horn has taken something of a small stature compared to other player’s wives and girlfriends at the 2016 NBA Finals. She has been overshadowed by perhaps the most popular wife in the NBA, Ayesha Curry.
The wife of two-time MVP Stephen Curry had been known for her lifestyle blog and for an upcoming show on the Food Network, but now is taking a more active role in the series itself. After Stephen Curry was ejected in the closing moments of Game 6, she took to Twitter to go off on the NBA and claim that the game was “rigged.”
The outburst was quickly deleted, but led to some unwanted attention for the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry joked that he would be turning off the WiFi in his home, the New York Post noted, but it seems difficult to quiet Ayesha as she has become a celebrity in her own right.
Cody Horn has also taken a backseat to Savannah Brinson, the wife of Cavaliers star LeBron James, who herself is becoming something of a star in the interior design industry.
Ironically, both Kevin Love and his girlfriend Cody Horn have strong connections to the entertainment industry. While Horn’s father is her link to Hollywood, Love’s uncle is a part of music royalty himself. To anyone who didn’t make the connection with his last name, Kevin’s uncle Mike is a founding member of the Beach Boys.
