Yolanda Foster Leaving ‘RHOBH’ Over Cast Demotion, Didn’t Want Minor Role

It is official that Yolanda Foster is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and will not be back next season. There had been a lot of talk about what Yolanda’s storyline would be and how much she would be around. Now, Yolanda is revealing to her fans that she is done with the show. Us Magazine shared that Yolanda Foster revealed in a statement for her fans explaining her side of why she is leaving the show.

Yolanda went to her Instagram page to share the details. Here is what she had to say.

“I would have loved a more graceful exit then ‘Season 6’ but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life. I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home.”

It does sound like Yolanda is not happy with the way it all went down. Now that she is divorced, everyone would have loved to see Yolanda’s dating life unfold on reality television. It will now be up to Yolanda if she wants to let her fans in on what is going on or not. It could make dating a lot easier on her.

Fans have gotten used to seeing Yolanda Foster deal with her Lyme disease battle, and last season, she got a divorce from her husband David Foster. Yolanda will be missed on the show for sure. Bravo even spoke out saying that they respect her decision to leave the show and that she will be missed. Bravo also said that they hope to see Yolanda on the show again in the future.

TMZ shared that Yolanda Foster is playing it out like she just chose to leave the show, but that might not be the entire story. Production sources say that Yolanda wasn’t fired, but she was actually demoted. Yolanda would not have been full-time on the show and was instead offered a role as “friend of the cast.” That would have given Yolanda a lot smaller paycheck and she wouldn’t have been on the show near as often. Instead of taking on this role, Yolanda decided that she was going to just leave the show and be done with it all.

It was revealed that Yolanda wasn’t okay with the idea of not being full-time cast and felt like it was a big demotion. Yolanda refused to take this role and just left the show instead. It does sound like Yolanda could come back to the show now and then, though. It would be similar to the way that Kim Richards was around just for a few episodes last season. It will be up to Yolanda to decide if she wants to do that or not.

Now that Yolanda Foster is leaving the show, they will have to find someone to replace her. This might not be easy, but you know there are a lot of people interested in being on the show. Yolanda didn’t bring a lot of drama to the show and whoever they decide to add could be great for that, which of course means more ratings for the show.
