Paulie Calafiore, Tiffany Rousso: Meet The ‘Big Brother’ Siblings Set To Take Over The Season 18 House

Paulie Calafiore and Tiffany Rousso are two of the players announced for the new season of Big Brother, and they have some family ties to the show. TV Guide reports that Paulie Calafiore is the brother of popular Big Brother Season 16 runner-up Cody Calafiore, and Tiffany Rousso is the sister of last season’s savvy Vanessa Rousso.

The BB siblings will join a cast that includes a dog groomer and a 50-year-old makeup artist, but all eyes will surely be on Paulie and Tiffany, considering they have inside information on life inside the Big Brother house.

Paulie Calafiore is a 27-year-old DJ from New Jersey, and his social media feeds reveal that he’s an avid gym rat who is already in tip-top shape for all of the Big Brother challenges. On his CBS bio, Paulie also says he’s into martial arts and music.

“I like Krav Maga the most on the martial arts side and playing the guitar on the instrument side,” Calafiore says.

Paulie Calafiore is a Rutgers University alum and he says his Big Brother strategy will be a combination of things that will be determined once he enters the CBS summer house and sees “what pieces I’ll be playing chess with.”

Incidentally, Paulie also says his must-haves for the Big Brother house include a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash. While he says he choose those particular toiletry items because “it would be impossible to be social at all with rancid breath,” it’s very possible that he’s already thinking showmance.

Interestingly, Paulie Calafiore’s brother Cody Calafiore was recently part of a panel for The Hollywood Reporter and his advice to the Season 18 houseguest was to just say no to a showmance.

“I am so against showmances,” Cody Calafiore said. “It’s a sure way to get you booted right out of the house. You may go further, but showmances usually never end well for either one or even both of the people in them. ”

Still, Cody Calafiore had some very solid advice when it comes to relationships in the Big Brother house, so hopefully his brother Paulie was listening.

“My biggest thing is build relationships at the start that are going to help you get to the end because you’re not doing it on your own and you’re in there for a very long time,” Calafiore said. “I was friendly with the guys I was very flirty with the girls. I was on the ins with a bunch of the people. If there was ever game talk I would let it come my way so that there was never a factor of someone saying, ‘Cody came to me and said this.'”

In addition to Paulie Calafiore, Tiffany Rousso, the sister of last season’s poker-playing Vanessa Rousso, will try her hand at the reality TV game. Tiffany, who’s 32 years old and a high school teacher in Florida, has a more concrete strategy for winning the big Big Brother bucks than Paulie Calafiore seems to have.

“I am planning on integrating three key facets into my game,” she told CBS. “I want to build rapport with everyone, be social, and have one person I can trust until the end. I will make people feel like I am on their side. I also hope to be great at competitions when needed. It’s all about timing. You don’t want to come out with guns blazing! I’ll also be sure to align myself loosely with bigger threats, so they get taken out first, but they will be more likely to win HOH competitions.”
