Apparently, Katy Perry And Miranda Kerr Get Along Just Fine
Most women wouldn’t want to meet their boyfriend’s hot ex, but Katy Perry is cool with it. She met up with Orlando Bloom’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, at the 2017 Moschino Resort fashion show over the weekend.
In case you didn’t know, Katy Perry, 31, and Orlando Bloom, 39, have been reportedly dating since they were seen partying together at a string of Golden Globes after-parties earlier this year. Rumors spread that Kerr wasn’t thrilled when she heard that Bloom already introduced Perry to their 5-year-old son, Flynn. But Bloom’s relationship with Perry has been heating up with their constant trips around the world.
To make things even more awkward, the gorgeous women also had a run-in at the Moschino Resort 2017 show in Los Angeles over the weekend. Some would assume that their meeting was rather uncomfortable, but Katy and Miranda were rather friendly with one another. Katy and Miranda even posed for a selfie together, so it looks like there’s no feud between the two despite their direct connection to Orlando.
In addition, a source told E! News what really went on when Miranda Kerr ran into Katy Perry. The two appeared to be cool with each other when they met up. The insider said that Kerr greeted Perry like there was no bad blood between them. It’s obvious that the two beauties have spoken with each other before.
“Miranda came backstage and she went straight to the makeup chairs where Katy was hanging out and she greeted Katy with a hug. They took selfies together and chatted like best friends for at least 10 minutes before Katy left.”
Perry also watched Kerr and the other gorgeous models walk down the runway. The “Dark Horse” wasn’t intimated by Kerr’s beauty. In fact, she was a huge fan of Kerr’s walk during the Moschino show, claims the source.
“When Miranda first stepped out at the start of the show, some people were cheering and Katy was clapping and whistling too for her. At the end of the show, Katy clapped and cheered for Miranda a little louder and Miranda smiled so there clearly was no weird tension.”
How sweet but weird since both ladies share a connection to Orlando Bloom, who has been entangled with Selena Gomez for the past few years. Rumors swirled that Bloom allegedly cheated on Kerr with Gomez as retaliation for the model’s alleged affair with Justin Bieber. Then there was that time Bloom attempted to throw a punch at the Biebs at a restaurant in Bieber as onlookers such as Leonardo DiCaprio clapped and cheered.
Strangely enough, Miranda and Selena also posed for photos together at the 2014 Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week, a 2016 UNICEF event, and at the 2016 Louis Vuitton Resort Collection back in May 2015.
Katy was also involved in her own Selena Gomez drama. Orlando and Selena looked cozy in Las Vegas back in May, causing rumors to swirl that he cheated on Katy with the 23-year-old singer. But Katy slammed the “conspiracy theories” on Twitter and instead led fans to a link about Orlando’s recent efforts with UNICEF. Selena even showed her support by retweeting the pop star’s post and adding the hashtag #KillEmWithKindess.
After the fashion show, Perry met up with designer Jeremy Scott, where they were spotted having a conversation for several minutes. Perry and Scott are good friends, and Perry has even worn several of his designs at various red carpet events in 2016 and 2015.
Friday night’s star-studded event also included the likes of Big Sean, Bella Thorne, Caitlyn Jenner, Kaia Gerber and her mom Cindy Crawford, Serayah, and Vanessa Hudgens. As for who else modeled the colorful and bubbly looks from Moschino’s resort 2017 collection, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Hailey Baldwin, and Jourdan Dunn were also in the lineup.
