Bobby Brown’s Wife Alicia Rushed To Hospital

Bobby Brown rushed to wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown’s side on Saturday afternoon when she was driven to the hospital after suffering a seizure in the couple’s Kissimmee, Florida hotel room.

Bobby Brown was in the middle of a soundcheck with his group, New Edition, when he received news of the medical emergency.

Following a brief scare for the newly wed couple, Brown later tweeted:

“The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and is in good spirits and doing well. Please keep my family in your prayers.”

Brown and Alicia were wed in Honolulu in June 2012. Alicia also happens to be Bobby Brown’s business manager. The couple were engaged for nearly two full years before finally tying the knot less than 24 hours after Bobby Brown performed a New Edition show in Honolulu.

According to PEOPLE:

“Brown credited Etheredge-Brown with giving him a new lease on life after his 2007 divorce from Whitney Houston, who died last February.”

It has been a tumultuous few months for both Bobby Brown and Alicia Brown after Bobby checked himself into a rehab center for a short period of time. That three-week rehab stint was required after Bobby Brown was arrested for several driving-related infractions earlier this year including a DUI.

With drug accusations still swirling around Bobby Brown since the sudden death of Whitney Houston, we expect more questions will be raised even if his wife’s recent medical condition is 100 percent non-drug related.
