NBA Rap Album To Feature Juwan Howard, Carlos Boozer, Lamar Odom [Video]

When Miami Heat Forward Juwan Howard releases his music debut, Full Court Press Vol. 1., he won’t be the only NBA star throwing his hat into the rap game. Howard will be joined by more than a dozen other NBA stars, including Carlos Boozer, Lamar Odom, and Shawn Marion.

According to iamagma.com, the new album will feature at least 14 NBA stars. Full Court Press will also include performances from Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Birdman, The Game, T-Pain, and Soulja Boy.

Howard, who was one of the oldest players in the NBA last year, said:

“I started to have fun with it…. I was like, you know what? I’ve done this before at home in the shower. But now it’s real in the studio. But then I started getting the beat, I’ve got a little rhythm now.”

CBS Sports reports that Baron Davis, Trevor Ariza, Lamar Odom, Carlos Boozer, Glen Davis, Shawn Marion, and Josh Smith will all be performing on the new album, and producer Shannon Lawrence is hoping to add a few all-stars like Lebron James and Dwyane Wade.

Lawrence said:

“To do some good, clean inspiring music with NBA athletes and a major recording artist in the industry is really the whole thing behind it… I would love to get LeBron and D-Wade to be with Juwan.”
